i went to court today and really blew it. the judge didn't ask any questions. the mortgage company stated their side and i made a feeble attempt at stating mine. we were in and out of court in less than five minutes. if the judge finds for the mortgage company, do i have any grounds for an appeal?

anyone else a little worried that the religious are in control of our nation's government? these people that are supposed to make important possibly life altering and future shaping decisions that are supposedly based on facts and research and reflect our citizen's hopes and concerns, tend to make their decisions based on the basis of their religious backgrounds. i don't know about you, but i don't want some guy who believes that jesus is going to "take us home" next year to be calling the shots in washington or have any sort of power at all. they world may very well end soon, but i don't want that to effect mine or anyone else's lives today.

I have concert tickets but I found better seats. I need money to buy those instead, so can I sell the tickets I have now for more than I purchased them for? I have heard that this can be against the law, what do you think?

They are such idiots when they talk of disarming our military. If it not were for the military of this country, we would have been enslaved a 100 years ago. Liberals are nothing but cowards, who would not even fight to protect their own children and this country. The very country ( and military ) who affords them the opportunity to spew the cowardly garbage they mouth everyday. They hate the very hand that gives them that very freedom.

Liberals, you are all cowards and spineless, and I hate the fact that good American soldiers have to die for the likes of you chicken shits.

I've come to the conclusion that with the millions of dollars the the US pumps into poor countries we need to start using some of that money to provide them with birth control. It would atleast help the problem. Seriously, they know they don't have enough food for everyone, but they continue to have more and more babies. They know they have AIDS but they continue to have babies and pass it on to them. Am I being hateful? Or do you think this is a good idea?

It is a fact of life that racism has been around ever since man kind. Than why do so many say move on and not see the duty in correcting the wrong and making it right for the future and your loved ones? Why are so many so eager to claim a higher ground and escape from the truth that racism and discrimination is wrong, unfair, immoral and unjust?
Who are these people who have so much wisdom for the victims of injustice? have they ever lived with such discrimination and pain? what gives them the moral ground to tell victims of unfairness and injustice to move on and pretend it never happenned? Who are these masters of disguise who feel no pain as those who are victimized by racial discrimination?
Where do they come from, are they quitters who just won't acknowledge the problem and are unwilling to get involved? Are these people just benefactors of other peoples demise and pain?
Please, if you are white, what moral ground do you have to give advise on such an issue? Please explain.

Why is that laws affecting minorities and people of color cant be established and enforced by minorities and people of color?
How would the white fellow Americans feel if people of color made all the rules and laws relating to fairness, injustice, inequality and racial discrimination?
Would the White Americans feel offended or would they feel minorities are not fit or should not have that right?
Why are all laws of fairness, injustice and racial discrimination made by all white congress and senators? Is this fair? Is it fair, Is this morally correct? Should the laws of civil rights, injustice, equality be made by minorities only since they are the ones who are and have been subjected to injustice and racism?
Is it time to answer such questions?
Should'nt the civil rights laws be made by people of color and minorities since it affects them directly and adversly?
Who here has the moral and ethical right to make policies and laws affecting the lives of people of color and minorities

She only filed once she knew her sponser was divorcing her. There has never been any abuse, there are even family court transcripts where she has testified there was no abuse. She is on a revoked I-130 Visa now and had never lived in the US prior to her fililing for the VAWA visa 3 months after she came to the US to fight for alimony and other money from the divorce. They were only married a little over a year. They had never lived together, not even when dating because he was a US servicemember stationed to base in the foreign country they met in. She was a phillipino "entertainer" for the GI's and he was a young, naive boy that had never been away from home-met her, got her pregnant and married her because of his family/religious values. Now she wants money and citizenship. She filed for the Violence Against Women's Act a month after her original visa was revoked.

In 2005, an unprecedented joint declaration by the leaders of all British political groups in Brussels called for PM Tony Blair to push for an end the “medieval” practice of European legislation being decided behind closed doors. Critics claim that the Council of Ministers, the EU’s supreme law-making body, which decides two thirds of all Britain’s laws (and the majority of laws in all Western European countries), “is the only legislature outside the Communist dictatorships of North Korea and Cuba to pass laws in secret.”

It appears that the civil rights act of 1964 and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission was both enacted and established to protect the rights of minorities and people of color.
Yet it also appears that both of these acts were established to enacted by the all white voters in Congress and Senate.
At the same time these very voters who were all white and owners of businesses set in place limitations that makes it impossible for people of color to fight for their rights in courts by setting statue of limitations and passing and or supporting private justice called "Arbitration" that allow the empl;oyers to keep the charges of racial discrimination out of courts.
Aren't the congressman and senators all taking part in racial discrimination by allowing employers to protect themselves from lawsuits?
What is the point of making laws that are impossible to enforce or does not allow the persson of color to who is victimized to have his day in courts by obstacles of lack of money.

Right now there has been many issues with religion in government. A few minutes ago I was reading a question about what would be first a African American, Homosexual, Asian, Woman, or an Atheist President, and I was surprised many people though atheist was one of the least likely. Shouldn't your religion be your personal belief and not affect how the government precedes or you candidacy for public office? Why does it matter if I believe in God, or I don't? If I'm Hindu, Muslim or Jewish? Why do politicians want the 10 commandments in Congress? I personally Believe that Religion is a personal belief you may or may not have and you have your privacy with that, but it should not affect our government.

You as a citizen of the usa, want protection from every other country, many countries wants protection from the usa. You do have a right to protect your 'house' as do every other country.

Yet, America is invading more and more,
killing more and more,
selling more and more weapons,
stealing more and more oil,
killing more and more innocent civilians,
Then they gets involved when Iraq invades Kuwait... why did they get angry? Kuwait supplies the U.S with ???
The U.S gets involved when a country is killing terrorists like the terrorists that get killed in Diyarbakir, Turkey.
The U.S. gets involved when countries sell weapons to other countries, as long as the U.S. sells weapons its alright is it?
Why is oil so expensive in Turkey when they are next- door neighbours to Iraq, Middle East? The U.S. supplies Turkey with oil, thats why.

I am talking about the government which the people elected, MOST of the people in the U.S. are good people, which would not like these issues,
