DID YOU KNOW?

As you walk up the steps to the building which houses the U.S. Supreme Court you can see near the top of the building a row of the world's law givers and each one is facing one in the middle who is facing forward with full frontal view - it is Moses and he is holding the Ten Commandments!

DID YOU KNOW?

As you enter the Supreme Court courtroom, the two huge oak doors have the Ten Commandments engraved on each lower portion of each door.

DID YOU KNOW?

As you sit inside the courtroom, you can see the wall, right above where the Supreme Court judges sit, a display of the Ten Commandments!

DID YOU KNOW?

There are Bible verses etched in stone all over the Federal Buildings and Monuments in Washington, D.C.

DID YOU KNOW?

Patrick Henry, that patriot and Founding Father of our country said, "It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded not by religionists but by Christians, not on religions but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ".

DID YOU KNOW?

Every session of Congress begins with a prayer by a paid preacher, whose salary has been paid by the taxpayer since 1777.

SO WHAT IS THE PROBLEM HERE??

How, then, have we gotten to the point that everything we have done for 220 years in this country is now suddenly wrong and unconstitutional?

To Kill an American

You probably missed it in the rush of news last week, but there was actually a report that someone in Pakistan had published in a newspaper an offer of a reward to anyone who killed an American, any American.

So an Australian dentist wrote the following to let everyone know what an American is, so they! would know when they found one. (Good on ya, mate!!!!)

An American is English, or French, or Italian, Irish, German, Spanish, Polish, Russian or Greek. An American may also be Canadian, Mexican, African, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Australian, Iranian, Asian, or Arab, or Pakistani, or Afghan. An American may also be a Cherokee, Osage, Blackfoot, Navaho, Apache, Seminole or one of the many other tribes known as native Americans.

An American is Christian, or he could be Jewish, or Buddhist, or Muslim. In fact, there are more Muslims in America than in Afghanistan. The only difference is that in America they are free to worship as each of them chooses. An American is also free to believe in no religion. For that he will answer only to God, not to the government, or to armed thugs claiming to speak for the government and for God.

An American is from the most prosperous land in the history of the world. The root of that prosperity can be found in the Declaration of Independence, which recognizes the God given right of each person the pursuit of happiness.

An American is generous. Americans have helped out just about every other nation in the world in their time of need. When Afghanistan was overrun by the Soviet army 20 years ago, Americans came with arms and supplies to enable the people to win back their country.!

As of the morning of September 11, Americans had given more than any other nation to the poor in Afghanistan.

Americans welcome the best, the best products, the best books, the best music, the best food, the best athletes. But they also welcome the least. The national symbol of America, The Statue of Liberty, welcomes your tired and your poor, the wretched refuse of your teeming shores, the homeless, tempest tossed. These in fact are the people who built America. Some of them were working in the Twin Towers the wretched refuse of your teeming shores, the homeless, tempest tossed. These in fact are the people who built America. Some of them were working in the Twin Towers the morning of September 11, 2001 earning a better life for their families. I've been told that the World Trade Center victims were from at least 30 other countries, cultures, and first languages, including those that aided and abetted the terrorists.

So you can try to kill an American if you must. Hitler did. So did General Tojo, and Stalin, and Mao Tse-Tung, and every bloodthirsty tyrant in the history of the world. But, in doing so you would just be killing yourself. Because Americans are not a particular people from a particular place. They are the embodiment of the human spirit of freedom. Everyone who holds to that spirit, everywhere, is an American.

Am Your Worst Nightmare. I am a BAD American. I am George Carlin.

I believe the money I make belongs to me and my family, not some mid level governmental functionary, be it Democratic or Republican!

I think owning a gun doesn't make you a killer, it makes you a smart American.

I think being a minority does not make you noble or victimized, and does not entitle you to anything.

I believe that if you are selling me a Big Mac, try to do it in English.

I think fireworks should be legal on the 4th of July.

I think that being a student doesn't give you any more enlightenment than working at Blockbuster. In fact, if your parents are footing the bill to put your pansy *** through 4 years plus of college, you haven't begun to be enlightened.

I believe everyone has a right to pray to his or her God when and where they want to.

My heroes are John Wayne, Babe Ruth, Roy Rogers, and whoever canceled Jerry Springer.

I don't hate the rich. I don't pity the poor.

One of the accusations aimed at President Bush by his detractors is to call him a "cowboy," as if this is some mark of shame, implying something sinister or simple-minded. I keep wondering why.

Have you ever watched a rodeo? They've started interviewing the contestants after they compete, giving the audience a little glimpse into the
character of these athletes, something like the ones conducted preceding title fights and following basketball and football games. They go something like this. "Cody, you made a spectacular ride, which moves you into first place. How do you feel about your position as the number one bull-rider in the country?" Well, ma'am, (notice the use of a term of respect, a vanishing social custom among most Americans under the
age of 30), I've been real lucky. I've drawn some good bulls and everything has fallen into place for me this year. Some of my competitors have had some injuries and bad luck. I just hope I can stay healthy." Before his closest competitor

The Indians that America fought back then were savages – primitive tribes which were basically unworthy (whatever nonsense has now sprung about them) of even being known as a “civilization.” They were wasting some of the greatest lands on this Earth and assaulting those innocents who attempted to spread the blessings of civilization. They deserved the defeat they suffered. Our strategy for defeating the Islamist challenge ought to resemble that which we used for the conquest of this continent. The Moslem world is latter-day Indian country. Bit by bit we ought to retake the lands owned by Moslems from savagery, gradually spreading civilization as we move forward.

George W. Bush is a moron! Why did he go into Iraq in the first place? Two years prior to the invasion. He said that Saddam Hussain was not a threat and a target for terrorism (talking about 9/11). Two years later he is accusing him of weapons of mass destruction and sheltering members of Al-Queda. Two years, 3 000 lives and $300 billon later. No weapons found, no evidance of Saddam hiding Al-Queda. Even so, why did he have to bomb a country to (protect it's citizens even though he killed 30 000 of them to get one guy.) He demonstrated hypocrisy, murder, war mongering, money theft and lying all at one time. He can't speak, he's unpopular (I'm Canadian and live in Canada, I would know), people are losing their jobs. Money is shipped out the door. Our southern neighbours are in debt. Why does Clinton get impeached for loving his intern and Bush dosen't for killing people and lying (which is why Clinton got impeached.) Impeach President Bush and get a decent leader in the States.

the mayor of hazelton pennsylvania, said he thinks congress is taking to long to do something about all these illegals.so in their town, they are going to start fineing people who hire them, and this is the best part, people who rent to them too.i wish we had him for a mayor, i was really proud to see someone who cares about his citizens and town. if they would start doing this every where, all these illegals would have to go back where they belong.

I am a 20 year old male with big goals, that even though their out of reach and I have no money I sill have the wish to try. I wish to go in to politics and join the Republican Party, I have started by taking some college classes this summer and I will be starting political science in the fall at Columbia Gorge Community College. The classes I am starting with are a reading, class to enhance my vocabulary, a math class to be able to transfer to OSU later on, a art class to relax, and finally a writing class to help my spelling and grammar, sense with out those any attempt to get in to a office is futile.

Would any of you be able to give me some advice and ideas on how to go about this? Are there any groups that can help me? Any thing and every thing will help me out.

Thank you

I hear there is a line of requests for many reasons, their family, their lovers, adoptions, poor all kinds, those who want medical long list here too, students all kinds. Many stories.
Shouldn't Illegals wait in the back of the line?
Amnesty is like cutting in front is it not?

And yes it might take a few years-the ones needing lifetime medical ones wait.
