CNN even has his picture up on the main page to humanize him. This is all fine BUT what about front-paging the atrocities committed against soldiers Menchaca and Tucker? Why is there not more outcry against the terrorists? The media prefers to put our own soldiers on trial during a war than fight terrorists and their actions!!! We knew about this incident and it has been covered for weeks... not even two days go by and the soldiers are already forgotten... shame on us. I would rather see a tribute to the soldiers killed than a liberal agenda. What do you prefer?

There are two reasons why a guest-worker program is emerging as the bipartisan consensus in Washington.

Guest-worker programs, by their very nature create a second class of workers in the United States. This would allow the means to lower wages and set lower industry standards across the board.

Second, guest workers can be used to weaken unions and prevent union organizing.

The (unknown to them) poverty they have caused is starting to
have serious consequences on America's emergency rooms.
And yet, they sit there, worried about issues that will have no
consequence, whats-so-ever.
Did anyone see "Frontline" or "Anderson Cooper" last night?
They were unbiased and addressed some of our Real problems,
for the rich man's consideration.

If not, they should be. The American people by a great majority support finishing the job in Iraq properly while liberal Democrats are already campaigning on their cut and run strategery.

Also, isn't it odd that liberal Democrats are running for Congressional offices as though they're running against President Bush. NEWSFLASH: Bush isn't running again. Democrats will do fine in this election, liberal Democrats are about to get their clocks cleaned once again. I can't wait.

Say you were sick and needed medical assistance but didn't have insurance. Is it legal to get married to someone just so they can add you to their medical insurance policy?

This is for a friend who has breast cancer and I told her that I didn't think there were any laws against that. I mean how could they prove it also, ya know.

What do you think of a one-world government? If you've come to talk about Revelations, the antichrist, the end of days (unless polically related), dont bother posting a reply. Please think about your response first before jumping to conclusions that it's bad. Look at our current nation divided by nation situation. Share what you think.

I understand why people want to come to the U.S. and I welcome legal immigrants. I just don't understand why so many people choose to come here illegally. (I'm not talking about criminals, the reason they enter illegally is obvious)

My wife got in a car wreck with our baby (a dude in a small company's car hit our car and sped away but the police later caught up with him) and our lawyers said they have had to drop the case because they say the party at fault does not have insurance coverage at all. She has been going to the med and her back is hurting. Now I'm looking for the legal solutions.
Our car, which was totaled, had a value around $3800 (so we sure didn't have full coverage) and by the time you add the hospital bill, well, you go over $5000 which is the maximum we could have sued for in small court. She has lost her job since then, so we are just trying to get back on our feet here. What should I do. Was our lawyers' policy of dropping the case justified and ethical? Should we hire another lawyer? Should we sue the other owner in a different kind of court ? Is there anyway we can keep the med. bills from hitting us while we take care of all this ? Also, this is happening in the state of Texas.

Iraq will never work if they can't create a system of reasonable security. And the police and military that the US is training is supposed to be an absolute requirement for this. Yet, those forces are riddled with undercover insurgents with badges that slaughter people not in their own tribe.
