Why I don't vote for the liberal democrats?

1) Right now they are not a party of ideas but one of hate towards anything conservative or republican; I mean look at their rhetoric its all "against, against and against" with nothing but "well do better" without substance.

2) The left side of the agenda will tax the rich more; and while that buzz word sounds great (not being rich) they consider anyone with a job - rich.

3) There environmental views go way too far. They ignore science that does not promote taxation, regulation and more government. They could effectively kill all growth and you know what the definition of death is - no growth.

4) The liberal democrats believe in special rights for everyone but me. I don't want special rights, but I don't want anyone else having them either. For example 12 million people come here against our laws; no punishment, no crime, and plenty of rewards to be handed out by the liberals? No way I vote for that or them.

Is 4 enough?

I do not vote for any type of USA Democrat (Conservative, Moderate or Liberal)

1)Democrats support the out right murder and torture of babies. I do not support the murder and torture of humans in the name of Women’s Rights.
2)Democrats support doing away with the death penalty. I support the death penalty in cases where a jury of accused peers says it is justified.
3)Democrats support the total control of government over every aspect of our lives because they believe government knows best what the people need. The USA has been going down hill every since FDR and his New Deal called Socialism. I believe in individual responsibility and individual accountability. Responsibility and accountability is not is the Democrats dictionary.
4)Democrat philosophies in fiscal manners are tax and spend – tax and spend more than we take in. They created all these “entitlement programs” that have made most of the American people believe that the government is going to take care of them. The truth is that they lie and do not want to address the problems that they have created. Fact is that I am not allowed to spend more than I create by working. When has any politician actually received what they earned? I do not think any of them are worth what we pay them.
5)Democrat environment policies have created the USA dependence on foreign oil and have created the price increases. They have put in to law so many anti oil drilling laws that we have not drilled a new well in the continental USA in 25 years, have not built a new refinery in 30 years, have not built a nuclear plant is 20 years. This is wacko – then they turn around and blame the Conservatives because they drive SUV’s as if that would solve the problem!
6)Democrats have no plan and leadership. They cannot even agree on a platform. They have announced 16 different platforms since January of 2006. I have not read the paper today so it could be 17 by now.
7)Democrats hate the military and want to do away with our only means of protection. Clinton started it and thank God we stopped Gore from completing the total decapitation of the US Military. Peace thru Strength - not cut and run like Somalia and what they want to do in Iraq.
8)Democrat immigration policy is crazy – Thank God the members of the House put a stop the wacko senate plan and Bush’s plan. We must stop the flow and then clean house. No amnesty! I teach ESL to Asians and most had to wait to get into the states legally. The Democrats totally support stealing citizenship rather than earning it. (That goes along with government controlling everything)

I didn't vote for them last time because the only candidates we had here were tory and new tory(er, I mean labour). When there was a lob dem candidate, I did vote because I liked what they had to say and I knew the tories and labour would all do the same crap just maybe in different ways. lib dems may do too but I would rather give them a chance than let the 2 "big" parties in again. I would have liked to vote for the BNP.

Because they are boring. Because they peddle trifling variants on the same policies that have been around for 200+ years, many of which have been voted into previous parliaments anyway.

I would vote for them if they were to adopt any of the following proposals in their manifesto:

End the rights of capital to own land. Make every inch of the nation state public property.

Legalise Ecstasy.

Radically alter the education system to one based not on didactic learning and examinations but one based on play and creativity.

Open the borders to allow anyone free access in and out of the country. End passport regulations.

Completely phase out all forms of military and defence.

Establish a constitution without a monarchy and sovereign ruler.

Repeal the 1994 Criminal Justice Act and allow large groups of people to gather together freely.

Ban the slaughter of animals for food and end factory farming.

Limit the working week to a maximum of twelve hours per person.

Introduce a radical redrafting of the penal system where prisons would become basically comfortable places to live in, although behind bars, where learning through play and creativity was the operational purpose behind the goal of reform.

I don't vote for anyone without a plan. Their entire platform lately has been "Vote for me, because I'm not Bush!". They need to come up with some real solutions, not just feed the flames of senseless hatred for the Republicans. Aside from that, I think their foreign, social, or economic policies are tried, but not necessarily true. They need to revamp their policies to better reflect the needs of mainstream society, not just the "poor, disenfranchised minorities", whom aren't really being helped that much by those policies, anyway.

Well, they have good ideas..but my reasons are:

.Historic - The Liberal party from birth has been, at heart, a middle class intellectual party, concerned with a form of caring capitalism. They are fundamentally, weak tories. I dont trust them to keep a stance on anything, and i still consider them band-wagoners

.Political - Their policies are good but i doubt they would stand up to them in a full Parliamentary government. They would have to water down their more attractive aims to pacify vast tracts of the public, and they havnt had cabinet roles for years, i doubt they could cope.

.Personal - My local Liberal MP, (i live in Stourbridge in the West Midlands), is useless, she disregards the younger voter and is definatly upper crust, to the point of snobbery. She even sneers at labour supporters and thinks we're 'stupid'

Their you go. I dont trust them, dont like them and will never get into government

I won't ever vote for a LIB DEM, because I don't agree with their outlook on life and philosophy.

I can not conceive of governent doing *anything* that we can do for ourselves. I do not believe ANYONE can take better care of my children then I do, nor are they more motivated.

Thank GOD for LIB DEMS... and thank GOD for JERRY SPRINGER. Without them, I'd not have a contrast to the way I look at the world.

Different philosophy on life. I don't agree with the old Hillary "It takes a Village to Raise a Child" philosophy, I wouldn't trust the village to box train my cat. Government cannot do anything for us that we cannot do better ourselves. I am pro-life, I firmly believe in the sanctity of life. My biggest problem with them right now and for the past few years is that all they do is whine. I find the Democratic Party extremely depressing. They complain but have no plan, and when they try to state their plan it's so vague that I just tune them out. There just doesn't seem to be any backbone. Thanks.

the political process has gotten out of control and no one has the opportunity to really affect meaning-full change to our policies anymore.
divide and conquer is all we have now going on we have no one to lead america and have not since the beggining after the first few presidents .
the states and the educational system produce people who just get along by going along and we have an in-balance of people working for government and those working for them selves un- incumbered by massive regulations and protective political establishments that allow very little true capitalism anymore .they goot us to break up ma bell and now we use cell phones that have no privacy rights we drive cars with chips that display our location at all times we need a permit to do anything and a government license for most jobs ,.
WHAT has happened to our rights to be free more and more choice is being erroded away every year and i forsee a time when compinies will have exercise programs and people will no longer be able to eat french fries .ALL this will happen because you have taken away freedom a little bit at a time and replaced it with a police state.
DOES america really want to be told what to eat well it is coming in the name of good health care and lower costs to premium payers a the exspense of every-americans freedoms if the guys fighting in world war two knew america was headed to this point they would have never gone to war .tell me your grandfather would have had women fighting next to him or even beleived it was possible that this would be allowed in america .A lot of people look at this and say women are equal and have every right to be in battel fighting along side men and dieng.
WELL i hate to sound like a pig buut that is just plain nuts.MEN have always been the hunters and protectors women have stayed in save area's at home or in the cave or save in large groups with younger men caring for there protection .
America has let corporate greed and the division of the family serve to allow one thing and that is a manegable low cost labor force that serves the powerfull.
I have nothing else to say except that people who do not accept this are ignorant and blind to the truth .

They thoroughly offered out for the promise of an AV vote, they even compromised in this as they suggested it turned right into a "depressing little compromise" no human being truly cared about the "problem" besides, they're thoroughly out of contact with the final public
