Well, more republicans voted than democrats in the last election, doesn't necessarily mean there are more. Just more that actually care about who is in office.

It's really a question of location... if you look at the coasts, the DEMOCRATS are in the majority.... if you look at just about of any of the states that are left... the REPUBLICANS are in the majority.
I have a theory about why that is... but the question doesn't ask so... I'll move on to the next.

Nationally, there are more registered Democrats, but more Republicans tend to vote.
