And do you even care?

I did, but I don't.

And yes, this has nothing to do with politics. But there are a lot of repeat posters here, so I was just wondering.

I just bought the following safe and will bolt it to the floor. Does it look tough enough to thwart burglars?

When Bush ran for office, he stated he was a "uniter not a divider". Now he wants to drive a bigger wedge between the left and right with this gay marriage garbage. Personally, I think the feds charge us way too much for the privlege of letting them tell us how to conduct our personal lives.

I believe there will be disappointment at first but give it a few days after we lose and a few drinks of wiskey and the defeated troops will be ok.

We have exploding national debt, a health care crisis, failing wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, rising oil prices with no energy policy, depleted oceans, global warming, rising international hate against the US, corrupt elections, unlimited unwarranted spying by the gov't, among a few.

And banning gay marriage takes a top priority? Do even republicans think that this is a critical priority?

My sister and I were still up at 3am. We were watching a scary movie. A woman came onto my porch and knocked. I live on a terrace. A man was at the top of the stairs going up the terrace onto my front yard. The woman walked on the sidewalk that is in my yard up to my front porch. There is about 10 stairs to climb to my porch. She knocked and told me that she and her husband got off work at midnight. Their truck's gas gage doesn't work and they ran out of gas. She told me if I could only spare a few bucks so they can get home she would be so grateful. She offered to straighten my porch for the money. Her husband stayed at the top of the steps all that time. I asked her if she could call someone(family, friends ect.) She just moved to this state and everyone she knows is out of state. I went ahead and gave her enough for 2 gallons of gas and sent them off. They didn't look like drug people or that they had been drinking. What would you do and do you think they scammed me?

The highest number I saw was around 200 million people in 20 years, if all maximum quotas were used under the Bill. The Heritage Organization was saying about 100 million in 20 years, most poor immigrants with elderly and school aged family who would strain social services. Then there was an amendment to the Senate Bill that limited it slightly, and pro-illegals and pro-slave labor program both claimed the problem was solved. How comfortable are you with 60-70 million new poor immigrants under the Senate Bill, not taking into account illegal immigration? That is roughly a third of the current population of the USA! http://www.heritage.org/Research/Immigration/wm1109.cfm

What do you think? Do you have that much room for workers and school kids in your area?

Hi,
Will my canadian wife be able to come live on base with me if I am in the navy? Do I just have to fill out paperwork for her so she can get a military spouse card? Has anyone else been married to a foreigner who is a USC and in a military branch? The reason I ask this is because I am young 19 and she is too and is pregnant with a baby. We both don't have jobs and everyone has suggested to me that joining a military branch would be the best option for me and her at this time and the best and fastest way to be together and make a future. I really hope someone can write back!

Thanks

My boyfriend is a chef and he works around 40 hours a week 50 including travel.
Sometimes he doesnt finish work til 12am and has to be back in work at 7am. But by the time he gets home and has a shower its 1.30am when he gets to bed.
Isn't there a law were you have to have a certain amount of rest between working days?
Also he doesn't get a break unless hes working an 11 hr shift. He works like 7am til 5pm No Break but when he works 12pm til 11pm he gets 1hr break.
Can they get away with this?

making this up. Not only trusted sources like the irrational inquirier, but others more reputabale have been paintilng a picture about the disintegrating marriage of Laura and George. Condi Rice once introduced W as her husband(stopped short of saying it) and described Crawford as her second home. Gives whole new meaning to domestic affairs for a Secretary of State. It is likely that his previous drinking habits have not been previous but current. There does seem to be a strain between the first couple.

I've made it to E-5, but loved being a corporal more. When I was promoted, my Major (a mustanger) said Sergeant was the best rank he held, other than Captain. Which rank did you enjoy the most?
