Of course. Keep in mind, the policeman pulling you over makes it a moving violation, points on insurance and all that.
The camera ticket merely civil. They can fine the owner of the car, but they cannot establish who was driving it.
You should not receive two tickets, the police ticket supersedes the camera one. If you get both, you should be able to get out of the camera one.

Okay do you know if was a camera that takes the pictures? It most of the time will have a sign saying this camera takes pictures for red light runners. Most ppl get the camera comfused with the camera's that will change the light when the camera sees some many cars at that intersection. Now lets go worse case sitution a. if the camera did take your picture when the light was ran then yes you will recive a ticket through the mail in 5 to 10 days. b. if an officer seen you when you ran the stop light then yes he can and most likely will write you a ticket! also u cannot be wrote 2 tickets for the same thing at the same time

Yes they ahve teh right to pull you over and issue a ticket. Just challenge the ticket that comes from the camera and show them that you already paid one issued by the police for the same infraction.

Of course! Heck, you might get TWO tickets out of that! Good reason to not "accidentally" run a red light.

yes. then if you know there was a camera then you tell the police officer. he will give you the ticket then there will be a part of it that he tells you to remember. when you get the other ticket you bring it to the closest police station and show them both tickets and they will take one and rip it apart

Yes, that is their job. The camera is there just in case they aren't around to catch you making an error. You won't, however, be ticket twice for the same offense.

If there's a RED LIGHT camera... you'll receive a picture of your license plate in the mail... don't send them a picture of the FINE, because... they will issue an ARREST WARRANT.
