When Bush ran for office, he stated he was a "uniter not a divider". Now he wants to drive a bigger wedge between the left and right with this gay marriage garbage. Personally, I think the feds charge us way too much for the privlege of letting them tell us how to conduct our personal lives.

There has been erosion of the 1st, 4th, 5th and 6th amendments by much that has been done during this administration.

Gay marriage issue isn't about homosexuals living togother, it's about them receiving benefits such as social security, life insurance, shared health insurance, and a myriad of other catagories that will effect the economy tremendously.

No, I think they're just trying to keep us safe and at the same time apease the mass majority of Americans. It's a hard ballance to keep, so I'm not suprised that lots of people are pissed off.

If you think its bad now, wait until Iran becomes nuclear. If the government fears that we're one phone call, one email, one led-lined cargo ship away from a nuclear detonation on continental US territory, you can say goodbye to the remaining civil liberties that we now enjoy.
