No. Past actions by the United States have not resulted in colonization. The U.S. Government is not perfect, but we have the best record in the world when it comes to allow nations to maintain their sovereignty at the conclusion of war. At the end of WWII the U.S. could have held about half the nations in Eastern Europe and Japan as colonies of the United States. Instead the U.S. assisted those countries in forming new governments and left the country.

The problems in Iraq and Afghanistan are a lot more complicated than the nations we have conqured in the past. It is therefore going to take much longer to resolve the issues there.

Win a war with who? The Iraq people? No! The terrorists? You will never win a war with an enemy who could be anyone, anywhere! Why dont we just protect OUR country from here! Leave all others to take care of there own! SO many men and women have lost their lives with this war of LIES!!!
