On my street, there is a man who keeps a spider monkey as a pet. The moneky spends much of his time on a tree in his yard, and since the weather is usually miserable and cold, I can't imagine how the poor thing must feel. I know many animal lovers keep even larger and more dangerous animals as pets, like snakes, wild cats, hybrid breeds in the name of love or looking cool. There are also many animals that are NOt dangerous but are put in danger by having them in too small cages or giving them unsuitable food or in any other countless ways of little cruelties. What is your opinion? Should these animals be allowed as pets in cities?

My dog is almost 17. She's in fair health and quality of life is good. She seems to have some cognitive problems which I consider dementia. Shes gets stuck in certain places, zones out sometimes, wanders the house if things are not 'right' for her, has forgotten hand signals, and has accidents in the house regularly.
Can anything be done about this? I play with her every day, but since she's just a pet, it's impossible to determine how bad, or what to do. Anyone have ideas?

My hamsters keep eating each other and I do not know what to do. There was a mom, dad, 6 babies and an albino baby. Dad got eaten, 1 baby got eaten, the albino got eaten, and there is one baby, half eaten. He is still alive and running around but you can see some of his insides, by his neck. is there any way I can help him? or the othrers?

well, i was burying my deceased hamster
today and my brother wanted to see if my
old dead hamsters body was still in the case.
so, my brother decided to take it out and opened it.
to his dismay, inside the case it was completely brown
with bugs all over it. I know Mickey decomposed, but why
did he look like diahrrea?

I rescued another pet from the local pet store, this one is a very beaten up mouse. He had about a 1in scab on his back and he's very scared. Should I try to get the scab off (soak it with water) or just let him take care of it? I wanted to put some antibacteria cream on it. And no i'm not using him for snake food anyone who suggests it will be reported
