you just have to buck up and lay down the law. tell the dog that YOU WILL NOT be treated like Jon, and tell him that Garfield is really a comic strip and it is not real life, and the keep the comics
section away from him, especially before he starts reading pearls before swine, then you are really in trouble, and i don't think
you will get any help/answers because... well..., we are ..scared,
...very scared. lord help us.

Ah...sounds like he's growing up just like a human teenager. He wants to start doing things for himself - maybe you should consider giving him a little freedom. Sit him down and have a real father-to-son chat with him. Maybe you should get him his own credit card/or debit card with a limit to the amount he can spend. Tell him that you can't afford him anymore if he continues to spend money in such a manner. If you can't eventually work something out, maybe your border collie should go to a money managing course so he can learn to control the amount of money he spends?

Get a second job, or better yet get your son a paper route to help with the debit card bills. Sorry about your luck. Mine is spoiled, too..... wait.... she wants to go for a walk, now. I'll be back in an hour.....

Be firm. Change your password and only use it when he's not in the room. Surely he can satisfy himself with what he's already bought. If he's a good boy, treat him to a long shopping spree.

I suggest meow as your new password. No self-respecting dog would dare even type such a word.

And I'll bet he's looking over your shoulder right now, too huh? My dog never did this...try telling him that all dogs who steal end up in the doggy jail (the pound) if they get caught.

Not to worry! Put him on TV- He'll make you a fortune and you won't even need a credit card :)

Get him his own card with a spending limit. And whatever you are drinking.....it would be nice if you'd share.
