We'll be driving to CA from RI in mid September. I'll be driving the Uhaul and my wife our car. We have a dog and a cat. It's the cat I'm worried about. We have a crate for her w/her bed, etc. and my wife plans on getting a harnes and a leash to use when going from the car to the hotel, etc. Still we are both kind of at a loss as how the experience will play itself out. Does any one have any advise or experience you can share of like circumstances??

I want something big, something that other people might find scary, like some giant beetle or one of those huge centipedes.
What can you sugest that is easy to keep/look after in a small tank and available to buy in the uk.

I don't want a tarantula/scorpion or anything that a lot of people have and also not something that will die in a month or 2.

For those who don't want to sterilize their pets via surgery but want to be responsible pet owners or to give to feral cats in their food to prevent them from reproducing? Can't the drug companies develop a safe drug for animals?

I want a new cage mate for mine, but would rather use re-homing than a pet store.

rabbit cages are way too expensive nowadays and i am looking for a cage less than 30 dollars that will accomidate 2 medium sized rabbits. do you know a palce where i can order inexpensive rabbit cages from? or do you know an inexpensive way to build one? i hear that building supplies cost almost as much as a cage and i don't have very good building experience either. but it's coming down to either this or letting my rabbits go. they have well outgrown the hamster cage that i have kept them in.
