If you think that much about the chinchilla money should not come into it. You can keep hanging on till someone coughs up the £100 you are asking for and possibly end up with a dead chinchilla or find a rescue centre and save his life. Either keep him in is cage away from the dogs or try and find a rescue centre that will take him. I have a chinchilla a dog and a cat and they all live together happily.
