God yes!! They'll fight to the death.
Male guinea pigs can only be kept together if from a young age or if u introduce a young one to an older one and only if there are no females about. As soon as they smell a female they'll want to fight over her even if they cant see or get to her. They're also very territorial over their space/hutch.
If 2 males start fighting u must sepparate them fast or they'll seriously injure eachother.

Males of any species tend to fight if they're kept together and testosterone is flying around. As someone else said, keep two brothers together, or house a male pig with a rabbit.

I use to raise guinea pigs and you can't keep males together unless they are brothers and stay that way from birth. They are like lions, if you will. They have to dominate the whole group of females and believe me, they can procreate real quick if you leave them with your females. As they get older the younger ones will fight the older ones to take over territory. Its just the laws of nature. Keep them separated unless they are brothers born together. Good luck.

your male guinea pigs always fight maybe they cannot stay together lo..but mine won't fight 1 ler...i have 5 of it..never had such kind of thing..i think really is your guinea pigs' problem lo~~the only way you can do is separate them,if not later they may injury.

I dont know!
But girl ones are very calm...I have two girl Guinea pigs!
Rolo and Twix!
But they NEVER fight!
Male ones do...mabey their nature!

They're territorial, fighting for top spot, if they never get along at all, they need to be separated
