I have a Largemouth bass I got out of a dried up pond 4 years ago. He is in a 75 gallon aquarium and is now about 17". He has been an awesome pet fish and is the most intelligent fish I have ever owned(he can recognize different people in our household). The problem is, I have somewhat wanted to keep at least something else in there with him as he has plenty of room, but because of his large size, aggressive disposition, and that he is able to eat large fish and frogs, not much is safe from him anymore short of another bass. There is plenty of cover such as live aquatic plants, rocks, and wood, but even the most secretive fish seem to get found within a few days. His is territorial, but there would be enough room for 2 bass. If I were to get one of similar size, would they fight? How territorial ARE they?

I am very uneducated when it comes to fish. I started out with an orange fish and a yellow fish (I have no idea what kinds). The yellow fish died shortly after I bought both of them. However, the orange one is still alive and had babies about one month ago. Now, I see a whole new litter of babies. About 9 or 10. How can this be? Does anyone know how I might find out what kind of fish these are and how in the world babies showed up one month apart when I have only one adult fish in the aquarium?

The tang has been eating a ton, you can see his belly is full, and he is always eating the hair algae on the back of the tank. Is there something wrong with it changing colors or any info on why this has happened would be great. 130 Gallon reef tank with a puffer, and lion fish.

It must be tropical, a community fish, only 1-2 1/2 inches long when it's an adult, and under $5. No goldfish!!!! Please, goldfish ARE NOT tropical, and need atleast 20 gallons. I will report you if you say goldfish.

I already have mollies, gouramis, and cories, now what should I get? Give me a long paragraph and possibly pictures or a website about them. If you just say "Betta", I WILL REPORT YOU. I am NOT asking you to name a fish, I am asking you to give me a fish and to tell me information about it. Be careful, the instructions are specific. And if one person gives me info on a tetra, DON'T GIVE ME INFO ON A TETRA AGAIN. I ONLY NEED ONE PARAGRAPH ON EACH FISH.

So please help?????

Ok Ive heard alot of people say that if your fish is suffering then you should "put it down" by putting it in a ziplock bag and putting it in the freezer and freezing it so you can properly dispose of it. Does this hurt them? Or can they not feel it?

I have this snail problem and I am getting tired of vacuuming as many as I can and then refilling the tank only to have to do it again in a couple weeks.
I have a smaller (10 gal) tank that isn't being used. If I set this 10 gal tank up and move the fish (maybe 10 small fish)from the big tank into the small one and then in the big one put hot water, (tap) fill it, wait a while and then clean every thing and set it up again will this get rid or the snail problem..
I don't want to use any chemicals
I am open to suggestions.
Thanks
Swede

Like I've said she swims with her head facing the gravel, in the middle of the orb, just still, not really moving, not even floating up...
She's only a baby, and she's only started doin this recently. What can I do? She shares a Big Bio Orb with two other black moores, an older moore and one of the same age, they all get along most of the times (simon is playful occasionally) I feed them cucumber (which they LOVE.), and aquarian flakes, and floating pellets. (Altho I get them wet b4.) Plz, if n e 1 knows anything, I'd really appreciate some advice. Thanks for your time. x
