The tang has been eating a ton, you can see his belly is full, and he is always eating the hair algae on the back of the tank. Is there something wrong with it changing colors or any info on why this has happened would be great. 130 Gallon reef tank with a puffer, and lion fish.

Give him time, Im glad to hear he's eating well, he's stressed with the bullies in the tank. Once he feels comfortable and befriends your other fish his colors will come back.Tangs eat all the time try introducing romaine lettuce or algae sheets, nori sheets at a chinese food supply store its cheaper this way.

Is he doing it at a particular time like at night. Our Tangs turned white with a large brown spot and layed at the bottom at night. 'Bout had a heart attack when I checked on them! But the store said it was normal and it never affected them.
