She is 10/11 weeks and it is her first fresh food she eats pellets, which she took to well just like the spinach as she has only ever seen it twice and today she ate it.

My question is will she accept other fresh foods and what may she like my other tiel-loved carrot too?

Will my tiel get used to that food as quick as she has done with the pellets and spinach

She has also learnt to fly to me her wings are semi clipped she can fly enough to come to me lol, and she has learnt to climb a ladder im trying to teach the wave what else can I teach her, she seems smart and is still young?

I doubt she will talk and I am not good at whistling lol

He is about 4-5 years old and I know that he is getting older but just this morning I felt a lump on his stomach. It doesn't seem to hurt him when I poke it and you can't see it but I'm still worried. I think it might be cancerous and really need to know if anyone has an answer. A vet before said that if I don't provide him with a less stressful environment that he might get cancer but he also said that if I look at his legs which had purplish color to them would show his stress. I worked with him from then on and now they returned to their normal pinkish color.

Ok, I have two cockatiels, one named Bud and the other named Did ( devil in diguise, he bites ) and when I take out Bud for awhile, Did starts to chirp jungle sounds. But Bud never chirps, people say that females don't chirp that much. Could it be possible that Bud can be Budianna?!!

my daughter has a quaker and it makes me sick to see how much this bird loves her, everytime she leaves the room the bird just freaks out and screeches loudly, i told my daughter that she has to start leaving the bird with me for a while, it has to get used to being without her. my daughter doesnt leave the house at all, ever. she has problems, but the baby bird has made a huge difference to her life, its the been the best therapy shes had. but i was wondering if this bird will get used to being away from her, its still screeching at me and its only been 20mins away from its mum. please tell me it will?

Just curious to all the pigeon people. If I set up a flock of pigeons, would they mate and bring home feral pigeons?

I know male budgies are the better talkers but mine still seems a little distant when it comes down to being sociable and perching on my hand.

He will sing and chirp but dosent like any contact.

He gets calls from Traralgon to Cranbourne to Welshpool to Sale in Victoria and drives to collect the birds. He keeps them until they are well enough to be set free in the wild. It costs a lot of money for petrol and to feed them and he needs help.

I didnt realise, and had been doing so. Ive been informed it can be harmful due to the grit, and which budgies don't need.

What is the best alternative to use? Im concerned about using newpaper due to the ink may be harmful. Would paper kitchen towel be alright to use?
