The question is - who is noisier? Lol. The SUN CONURE!
They can both be affectionate, that's your choice - of how you can raise them. Love them from a young conure, of course they will all be affectionate. Ignore them - they will learn to not be hand tame - the both of them.

They are both very cuddly but often Green Cheeks are more affectionate. Sun conures can tend to be stand offish at times while a Green cheek prefers nothing more than to snuggle with you. It has been shown that out of the golden trio the sun conure is the least affectionate and cuddly, and that the green cheek is the cuddliest of all conures but it really varies bird to bird. But in general a green cheek is most likely to be more affectionate, if just by a little bit. But remember that sun conures are very very loud compared to a green cheek as well.

This is a question of opinion but I would have to say Green Cheek. I also prefer them to Suns because even though they can be noisey... they are QUIET compared to Sun Conures. Don't get me wrong. I love the Suns as well but the little Green Cheek is my favorite!

I have had both and I think the green cheek is much more affectionate . I also had a mitered and they are very loving too . the thing about conures though is that they will bite and can be temperamental . good luck and merry christmas .

Go with the little Green Cheek. They're also no where NEAR as noisy as a Sun.

I have a green cheek and he's such a sweetie and a clown too...loves to play, but he is happiest cuddling and being loved...very needy in that respect.
