Female birds do that!

maybe she thinks she has a boyfriend? or a nest?

do not let this bird make any nest-like areas anywhere, and do not pet this bird on her back. only pet the beak or the back of the neck and don't pet her too much. make sure she has 12 hours of sleep (to put her body into a winter-time schedule were she won't lay eggs, as there is more darkness/sleep in the winter). Hopefully this will make her stop laying eggs. also don't feed her any eggs. there are hormones in there that will make her lay them.

Make sure she has enough cuttle bone for calcium or she will start taking calcium out of her own bones for the eggs and she can die.

one or a few eggs once in a while is ok, but if she lays too many eggs -- like if she lays 5 eggs every month or more -- and you can find no way to stop it -- you will have to take drastic action such as spaying to make her stop or she won't live very long. if she lays eggs once a year just ingore it. if she lays them non-stop that is very bad.

my dad's cockatiel laid eggs non-stop and she woudn't stop no matter what she did. i took this cockatiel, and being alone all day while i work is good for her, because she hasn't laid an egg since.

the recomend leavign the eggs for the bird to sit on so the bird doesnt' lay more to compensate, but if your bird does not sit on the eggs just remove them. good luck!

Do you have a nest box or hidey area? If so remove it, if she continues to lay eggs it will deplete her of valuable nutrients she needs. Also, is she alone or is there another bird in there? If she's not alone then the eggs may be fertile, and you need to leave them. If not, you should still leave them for a little while, because if you take it out immediately she might lay more, which will be hard on her little body. I suggest you get a cage cover, and cover her cage at least 12 hours. When birds get lost of sunlight, their hormones signal to breed. Also, get rid of any place she might be able to lay an egg, unless she's using the bottom of her cage.

I hope this helped!

It's a girl, obviously. Most species of birds will occasionally lay eggs even if they haven't mated.

Birds do that, it's kind of like a period for them. xD You can just disregard it. If she keeps on doing it, I think you can replace them with marble eggs so she doesn't re lay immediately.

It's a female.

All birds, and some reptiles, will always have eggs in them, fertile or not. You can just toss them, they won't hatch if the bird hasn't mated with a male. :)
