ok well my little chihuahua started to skratch and stratch and he got really red around his nech and it got nasty and slimy and another thing i think he has a feaver because he is warmer than usuall and is not really active like he was help me.

I looking foward to getting at dog soon and I need to know which dog is best for me. I don't want the dog to be too big. I have an senior citizen in the house and I don't want the dog all over her. Also I don't want the dog to be too agressive becasue I have little childern over my house most of the time. Which kind of dog is right for me??

I have a border collie 12 years old. Fully trained and house broak, but every couple of weeks she decides to coat herself in poop. Looking to see comments with people who know why trained dogs do this? Please no joke answers.

My cat had 4 kittens 4 weeks ago. She's been fine about letting my partner and I touch them and hold them. They have a large box in oour living room with a sheltered area and a play area, which is where she gave birth originally, she's been fine with it all this time and its clean and warm. Today for the first time she has been picking the kittens up and trying to hide them in my shoe cabinet in the bedroom. Why is she doing this and other than placing them immediately back in their box what can I do?

I have two cats that for some reason just started urinating on the rug (right next to their litter box), and sometimes they urinate on towels that are on the floor. Their litter box is impeccable, and the rugs have no other animal scents on them. Also, where they are urinating by the litter box, their urine is getting on an antique dresser (wood) and I don't know how to fix it. (It's been moved since the problems started happening).

Could someone please give me some ideas-short of getting rid of my two cats? Please help.

I was approached by a store manager and asked to leave because I had my 2 lb chihuahua with me in a carrier. Has anybody else had this happen to them . If so then I think maybe we should try to boycott Target stores. In other words if they dont want to be pet friendly then they dont need my money . Am I right or wrong ?

my dog is about 17 years old and he has a lump on his side and it is soft. one of my friends said that her old dog had it and they had told her its fatty tissue....any clue to what it might be and what should we do? besides the vet

She is a 13 year old austrailian shepard. We live in an upstairs apartment and take her out 3 times a day to do her business. Over the last few weeks she has gotten slower and slower on her walks and now she can not climb the stairs to get back up to our apartment.We had to carry her up the stairs. Typically only 1 person is home and she hates to be carried. She acts as though it hurts her. I don't know what to do for her anymore. She is a sweet dog but we can not afford to move. I don't want to put her down just because shes old. I have asked everyone I know if they will take her and they all say no. Any advice will be helpful. Thank you.

She pees or poos where ever she wants and we take her out all the time and we are home full time. She knows shes done something wrong but still does her business. Getting real frustrated had dogs all my life but cant get rid of this problem. Does anyone have any ideas?
