No he's not OK. He is in pain, could be a broken bone. Get him to the vet right away IF he is has labored breathing. If his breathing is normal, you can wait till tomorrow and if he is up and around tomorrow, it wasn't a broken bone and probably will heal by itself. Dogs know when to take is easy--let him have quiet rest tonight, and reevaluate in the morning unless he starts showing signs of distress, which for a dog is a very bad thing.
Many office visits can be avoided with a little patience.
Also, reexamine for puncture wounds, which are small and often go unnoticed. Snakes, BB's and 22's are common causes. Best of luck.

Huh?? Will he not move or is he all over the place? If he's not moving or he doesn't look right, get him to a vet ASAP. Don't wait for more answers. Start calling vets RIGHT NOW!
Edit: Which part was unclear? Turn off the computer and bring the dog to the vet. I don't need "additional details". You need to bring the dog to the vet, not sit on the computer waiting for answers while he could be dying or being permanantly injured!

He should perform a examination of the dog, gently so as not to get bitten. The dog may have an injury. If you touch one of the dogs legs and he yelps it may be broken or something. Look for open wounds etc. Sometimes animals fight.

check him over really good, feel his belly then his paws, do this slowley because you might be able to pinpoint the place that something is bothering him. Also take to vet or call your vet for advice.

It sounds like he may have gotten hurt somehow. Can you provide more details? What exactly happened that you know of?
