I have a 40 gallon tank that used to house 5 Bala sharks and we lost them after a move. :( we had them for about 3 years.
Which is easier to keep?
Which is more interesting to keep?
The Ph in my tank is pretty low....it's 6.4. Ive tried raising it but had no luck. I have white gravel in the bottom with a whisper power filter & also a big decorative piece in the middle of the tank that looks like a sunken roman collesium.

What is your experience with these fish??

I heard that there was a vein in the cats nails. If you cut it too short, you can bleed them. How short can i cut it without hurting it?

I have a 40 gallon tank and am trying to think if i would rather have Oscar's or Angelfish?
What kind of environment do angel fish thrive in.
the Ph in my tank stays at about 6.4. I dont know why it is so low and i cant seem to raise it.
Do they like rocks, plants, etc.

We are looking for a inside pet, that will be good for our children. We have a 1 year old and a 3 year old, both boys. They are both VERY rambunctious (sp?). We need a dog with a good personality and that will not snap or bite easily, since both children are very young. I also don't want a dog that sheds alot. If you can help I would GREATLY appreciate it!!

I have a 40 gallon aquarium. I did have 5 Bala sharks that lived for about 3 years but now my tank is empty. They died when we moved. I couldnt get the water back right. It's different here than where we used to live. The Ph in the tank stays at about 6.4 - 6.6. Ive tried everything to get it up some but nothing worked.
Ive always thought that Oscar's were interesting characters. I would like to have 2 of them. Do they like plants, rocks, etc.....

My cat (he's a rescued orange tabby) is extremely sweet and affectionate, however, he's increasingly more demanding of my attention. And when I eat, he literally tries to stick his nose in my mouth to see what I'm eating (of course, I share all my food with him). He constantly paws at me while I'm eating and tries to sit in my lap. I've tried to push him away but this has no effect whatsoever. Has anyone ever "cured" a cat of being such a pest?

Do you think it's bronchitis or a heart condition? He's 11 and he only caughs when he gets excited and breathes hard, like when he sees a stranger and barks, or is running. He is a cockerspaniel.

I am asking only people who have real, honest answers to answer this question. I have a 60 pound, 3 year old labrador. He is a complete food hound.

I had to leave him with my parents this weekend as my husband and I had to go out of town. My mom has two Italian Greyhounds, each only about ten pounds. I have always been so careful with him around these dogs as have my parents. We are always diligant to feed them seperately. However, my mom this weekend had to run outside for a minute but before she did she gave my dog and one of hers a dog treat. As soon as my dog finished his, he went to grab my moms dog and accidentally got my mom's dogs leg. The injury wasn't life threatening as it was only two small puncture wounds. And my dog was in no way attacking hers, only attempting to eat the treat. And as soon as he got it he acted confused as to what had happened to the other dog.

Is there any way to fix a dog of this behavior? I am desperate, he is not a bad dog!!
