You are lucky to have an affectionate dog with a good temperament. When the dog "acts crazy" chasing tail etc is probably feeling playful good time to play fetch or wrestle. The dog licks you because she knows you are just playing and you are her master she knows who is in charge - you - this is a good thing.

You should count your blessings that she isn't a biter!
I have had all kinds of breeds and the worst to play with are the biters. I currently have a red nose pit and when she was a little tiny puppy, she was already snapping. As she got older, I had to work very hard to get her not to bite, because she would get excited and then bite us in the face. She was just playing but since her jaws are so strong, it hurt badly.
She is now trained only to bite when we tell her to. And so far, we haven't had to. Every now and then, she'll still do the snapping thing, and we just tell her "no bite" and she quits.
By the way, a dog shows affection by licking. So she is saying that she loves you very much!!!

Licking is a greeting. It can become a behavoral problem. Give attention through ball playing exercise and any other exersize that she likes. Give her house time also and make her a part of the family.
If it starts to get too big a problem you can try this correction CUP YOUR OPEN HAND AROUND HER MUZZLE AND SQUEESE A BIT at the same time saying NO. Will take several trials before you start seeing improvement though. Good luck.

your question doesn't really make any sense...how can you let her bite you if she doesn't ever bite you, but only licks you? how do you know if she's ever bitten before if all she ever does is lick? lol. be happy that you have a dog that doesn't WANT to bite!! you don't have a bad habit to break, or a lawsuit on your hands.

She is a dog...that's what they do. Unfortunately they are unable to bang out a sonata on the piano or cure cancer. They just play and try to make their humans happy. Enjoy it.
