I want to say get out of the apt and into a place with a yard, but I know that is a tall order and I don't know your situation.
But they really do need to get out and run at least once per day. It is critical for their health and well being (not to mention you and your apt).
In the meantime, take him out to a park and run him until he is tired. Get him to fetch things, like tennis ball, old used up shoe, frisbee, etc... If you can't get him to fetch (chase & bring back), ride your bicycle/skate with him running along side of you. Run him until he goes out of steam (pants and wants to lie down). You'll have fun and you'll meet people too. Good luck !

Try taking him to a dog park, or a park that is fenced in so he can run freely. Or maybe someone you know has a large fenced in yard. You could try a tread mill. Also try riding a bike while he runs along side of you. Or if you have the time, agility might be GREAT for him. I work at a vet clinic and a lot of owners will take their dogs to agility just for fun and exercise. You could also try taking him to a lake so he can swim and chase a ball. Or try taking him on walks more frequently. I hope this helps, and if you are still having trouble exercising him, maybe find someone who would like to take him who can does have the space for him.

You should try to find a local park that you could take him to and let him off the leash. If you can't keep up with him, play fetch... he does all the work and all you have to do is throw (yeah I'm lazy). Also you could get a bike and one of those dog leash attachements that keep the dog from getting too close. This would let you move fast enough to give him plenty of exercise. Since usually the dog can out run us humans. Best of luck to you and the little fella!

You either take him on walks or a run. I would try to do this at least twice a day, one in the morning and then one in the evening. A combo of walking and running should do the trick. If he likes to chase balls, you could play that inside and he will get the exercise he needs that way.

Dog parks. Or what you are already doing. Maybe have him run alongside you while you are on a bike. Either way, the poor guy needs to get that energy out, or he will start misbehaving.

You've got a husky and you live in an apartment? What on earth?
You need to take this large dog for walks at least twice a day for at least 30 minutes a time, off the lead preferably.
If you can't do this, then you shouldn't have a dog.

Consider putting him in daycare a couple of days a week. I run with my labs, but if I'm having a busy week and can't, they get destructive. So I'll put them in daycare and they sleep for the next day and a half.
Good luck!

depends... running with him is a good idea.. if he plays catch with a stick or a ball you could take him to a park or a beach or someplace nearby and play fetch- that gets them a lot of excersize- continue the runs thouhg.. they are good for both him and you!
