In any pets, the most likely side effects would be an injection site reaction, swelling, fever or lethargy. In cats, vaccines can cause injection site sarcomas. For this reason a feline only rabies has been developed and is available at most veterinarians. This Rabies is a 1 year shot regardless of how it is given where as a "traditional rabies" is a 3 year vaccine after the first booster. Well rabies shots are an injection of the virus which makes the animal sick for a couple days so the animal gets a little taste of the virus but not enough to kill it the animal needs to ammune to it. when it gets its shots it will act drowsy and sick but it will get better in acouple days.Thats very good that you are getting them vaccinated!!!!!!

Decreased appetite for a day or two, lethargic, soreness at injection site,lump at injection site.
If you pet is experiencing any side effects your vet should be notified so they can make a note of it in your pets records.
