I am wondering what a average weight/size is for a 5 1/2 month old female boxer? I mean not over weight nor skinny perfect weight?

My tenant called at 10:30 tonight to say her cat was chasing something in her dining room and she needed me over right away. She's 88, so I hurried over to help her. She went on to explain her cat was chasing it and she didn't know if it was a kitten or mouse, lol, big difference there. She then said that at one point she walked up to it and tapped it with her foot and it crawled away. This seemed absurd to me so I kinda blew it off. As I stood in her dining room, it did crawl out and was definitely not mouse. It was very long and not elevated any, seemed to be touching the floor. It now became apparent she could have kicked it. It was barely moving, so just kinda taking its time crawling. I went home and got my husband and when we got back it was gone. Any idea at all what it could be?? It was two toned colored, grey and black and really has me flabberghasted.

Isis and Echo (Italian Greyhounds) both go straight for the squeaker when they get a new toy... so far the AKC brand toys last about a week before they're gone. Dr. Noy's last about the same, maybe a few days longer... does any company make a really durable plush type squeaky toy? I'd pay top dollar for something that would last even a month... Also, they only like the toys with squeakers inside, for some reason they don't like the nylon type which 'are' the squeaker...

Any suggestions?

i have 2 cats- mortimer and marley, and 2 guinea pigs- elvis and penfold. we also look after a stray cat that we've named tigger! and have been feeding a baby hedgehog that has been mooching round the garden for the past 5 days! (although it is as yet to be given a name, any names you can think of for a mooching hedgehog shall be kindly taken on board. in fact best name gets the points!!)

My Mom passed away 10 months ago. She had a dog named Becky, a miniature pincher, who my Dad is now taking care of alone. Becky has always had a slight problem with going to the bathroom in the house, but starting a couple of months after my Mom passed her "accidents" have increased tremendously. My Dad has tried to a number of things to keep her from going in the house and nothing seems to work. He is currently almost at the end of his rope and has decided to give her away. I love her very much and she is a part of my Mom that I do not want to let go. I have two dogs of my own and there is no way I can take on another one. If you have any solutions or ideas on how to cut back on her "accidents", I would greatly appreciate them. Thank you very much in advance.

Sincerely,

Jessica Bates

I want to start doing TNR, but I don't want to let stray, tame cats back into the wild if they can be helped. But the problem is, most cats act like feral cats when they are trapped. How can you tell!?

I love the morphs, but I am afraid of healthproblems.

If you don't like snakes, or don't approve of snake keeping, please just move on and save the space for on topic discussion.

i have seen many of the dog whisperer shows, and i cannot believe that he can correct a dogs behavior so quickly. it may be that they have edited the program so that it only appears that he has solved the behavioral probem very quickly,or maybe the whole show is a fake?

I have three dogs. 2 females and 1 male. The oldest female is 15, the other female is 9. Over the past few weeks ive noticed extreamly aggressive behavior from the young one tword the old one. It started out as little scraps, mostly just pinning the old one down and ALOT of growling. This morning however it escelated into an all out blood bath resulting in the old one being injured.

The young one is a normal very very freindly dog with no previous problems. They are all up to date on their shots and for the most part stay inside with exception of "bathroom breaks". The young dog has lived with the old one since she was a small puppy.

Ive heard that this can be normal as one dog grows older, does anyone else have any kind of explination on why this is happening or maybe a few solutions?

I actually acquired this dobie from the neighbor they abandonded him and i took him he came back and gave me his papers and said he didnt want him. i just acquired the dog week ago and he is a BIG challenge. he runs and jumps on the kids he bites them he barks at u if u say NO! I use a rolled up newspaper and this works the best with him BUT the minute u turn ur head hes right back at it jumping and knocking the kids down or biting them in a playful way... This is a question I want answered by people who are actually trying to answer with KNOWLEDGE of what im talking about. He also is humping things now like my son, pillows, and whatever he can find will he always do this and how can i make him stop that. I am not neutering him because his bloodline and his beauty he is a GORGEOUS blue doberman and he is 4 months old and HUGE!! he is about 55 lbs already but he is just very very very wild!! he does have the brains to learn he just dosent do this!! are all dobies this way as puppies?
