I have 2 sm Yorkies and my husband and I want to take them with us this year BUT where is are problem. We don't know where we should go with them? We really have been wanting to go to NY but I'm thinking that it might be to cold for them next month?

I dont think it really matters where you take them providing you have the necessary "equipment" like sweaters, little boots for snow (if your really concerned) I would say at at least have a sweater for them and they should be fine no matter where you take them. Dogs are just like people they can adapt to different climates. Keep them warm and you should be able to vacation any where that is pooch friendly.

Sounds corny but get them little sweaters for when they are outside in the cold if they aren't used to it -- also look for pet friendly hotels etc on the internet. There are ALOT of hotels and places that are very accomodating to pets - especially little ones. :-)

You can get them little sweaters. Make sure if you're going to stay in a hotel than they accept dogs.

California is pretty dog friendly, and southern cal is warm. I took my chihuahua to Silacone Valley for two weeks and we had a blast.

SOUNDS LIKE YOU NEED A PET SITTER AT HOME. I WAS JUST IN N.Y, AND WATCHED A DOG AT THE CAMP GROUND BECAUSE THE PEOPLE WERE GOING TO BE GONE ALL DAY. ARE YOU PLANNING ON THEM STAYING IN YOUR CAR WHILE YOUR OUT. OR STAYING IN THE MOTEL. THINGS TO THINK ABOUT. I'VE LEFT BOTH MY DOG AND CAT AT THE VETS WHILE I WAS GONE. I KNEW THEY WERE SAFE.

Well if you think it might be to cold you could always put sweaters on them.
