Please help me think of a name for my cat. I have 3 new baby kittys. I named one magic. I named one Houdini. The 3rd is a female she is black with a few brown spots. I need to still name her but I want it to go with the theme of the other 2. So please give me some ideas relating to Magic or famous female magician.

When my husband and I got this Chinese Water Dragon given to us he was given to us abused, the guy didn't know how to take care of him at all we pulled a thing out of his right eye that was at least 1/2 inch. We thought we were going to pull his eyeball out, He was discolored and still is, we got him the things he needs and we have had him for about 3 weeks now he had just started to eat we have been feeding crickets, meal worms, and greens, he seems to be doing ok now but he is still discolored we have UVA light and heat lamp for him. he is still pretty skinny but he is eating, his right eye is still kind of bad but he has it open today. so I know that he is getting bigger he is bright green on his belly but not the top so if you can help me nurse him back to health even more that would be great

We wanted to get a dog but both work so dont really have time for walkies and I detest cats as they are too shifty. The solution - House rabbit - toilet train really well and are as playful and loyal as a dog! Should they be be moved from outside in the cold to the warmth of our houses?

I just brought home a 6wk beagle puppy a couple of days ago. When I went to leave for work today I put her in her crate and she started whelping immediatly. She was so loud and living in an apartment I was afraid she was going to wake my neighbors so I got her out and soothed her till she fell asleep. Does anybody have any suggestions? I can't do that every morning or I will be late for work.

I talk to my 2 cats every day. sometimes I believe that they actually understand what I'm saying to them because they just stare straight at me like they're listening. I've also realized that the more I speak to my cats the more vocal they are toward me. my kitties meow when I speak to them. like, if I say to my 7 mth. old male: "hey T.J, what are you doing?" he looks up at me and moews about three or four times as if it to say "what's it look like I'm doing, I'm sleeping"! also, everytime I play fetch with my 2 yr. old female I say: "Blackie, you want your mouse girl"? she stares up at me and meows at me constantly as if she telling me "Yes, I want it, quite dangling it in my face and throw it"! I actually think that cats understand a great portion of what we say to them. whether they care to inform us that they know or not. cats are very intelligent creatures and I believe that a small part has to do with the amount that people chat with them each day. they're my babies.

To those who have had an experience of neutering an adult dog. After the surgery, does the dog feel sad? Is he looking for what is missing? Does he show to the owner that he doesn't love them anymore for what they did to him? Or he doesn't understand anything happened and his mood is the same?

I am really battling to accept that it may be time to have my miniture maltese put to sleep. She is 15 years old, deaf, and 80% blind. She spends most of her day sleeping, but when it is food time, she really makes a noise and still has a good appetite, even with no teeth. With being quite blind, when we walk past she really gets a fright and shakes like mad. She is fairly happy, just not very active. Am I being selfish. Please help me here. Thanks

I live in London in a working class area. Every night at around 2 am or 4 am, I can hear monkeys sreaming for about 15 minutes. It comes from a gated area that seems to be a factory and which is located behind my house. I am absolutely certain that these are monkeys because I have lived in places where there was monkeys in the wild and that is precisely the noise they make.

My suspicion is those are illegally smuggled chimps (or another type of monkeys) and that they open the door at night to ventilate a little bit for a couple minutes.

I really want to contact the RSPCA so they can investigate but as I live in the gettho, I`m very much affraid of having to divulge any contact info because I am affraid of retaliation (like death threats or a rock in my window).

What`s the best way to handle this completely confidentially?

(calling the cruelty hotline requires that I leave my name and address and I don`t want to do that).

The Yahoo point system brings out the idiot answers to some serious questions people ask just to get points. What the heck are the points good for any how.BIG DEAL you got points. This is to try to resolve a problem by asking questions and and to answer questions to try and give people other options to thier delemma. I realize we will never get rid of the jerks but it may help. You should not need points to ask a question. If it is one of the asanine questions just skip by it!!
