ever since I switched cat foods on my cat he seems to ignore me, and it really bothers me. I think my cat is doing it on purpose because he has done tis before and he knows it makes me sad, because he has seen my cry myself to sleep a few nights. What are some things I could do to get my cat to like me again?

She told me that a 5 gallon aquarium would hold 10-15 fish and that all i had to do was add water and put the fish in and they would be ok. I bought 8 fish. Since then , I discovered that this was totally bad information. One fish has died (coulda been sick anyways cuz he died in 1 day) and I removed one fish. So now I am down to 6. I since took back the 5 gallon and bought a 10. I have the six fish in about 7 gallons of water, I kept the filter cartridge that I was using in the five, put it in a bigger filter pump, and I had added some Cycle solution. Right now I have 4 neon tetras, 1 glowlight tetra, which I will be returning since the lady failed to mention it was a schooling fish, and 1 red zebra danio. I need to get a few more of those, but i don't know how long to wait. Please give me any suggestions that you can! Thanks!

he is scared to death of my hubby and 14 yr old son. He won't come to them and he runs to me everytime there near. We have tried treats and all kinds of stuff. I have owned lots of dogs and never seen this kind of behavior. I am scared that he was abused or something. Maybe by a man or kid and he is gonna bite one of them. When I leave the room he follows and if I shut the door he goes nuts. He growls a lot at my cat, my printer, the tv and lots of other things but never has at us. He is scared of his own shadow, the stairs and lots of other things. I know my husband or son didn't do anything to him to make him scared because he has been at my side the whole time. Has anyone ever had this problem with a dog? If so how did You solve this problem? I don't want to get anymore attached to him if he is not gonna come out of this. He won't eat unless I stand by him. He hasn't went to the bathroom in my house and rarely will he go when I take him out because he is so timid.

My by's silver dollar died today. He got caught in one of the fixtures in the tank. Does anyone know the life expectency for this type of fish. He has some red devils and irridescent sharks that he has had for 13 years. If you have info on them as well it would be appreciated.

My fiance wants to get a kitten but I'm afraid he'll scratch up our young son. I mentioned getting it declawed and he lost his mind. I could see if we let the cat go outside it would need them, but he'll be indoors. What should i do??

my dog is 15 months old. he's really good at going to the backyard everymorning to pee-pee, but when i leave him indoors surrounded by pee pads and newspapers he'll still go to areas where it's not covered.

I recently adopted a male dog, collie-husky-german sheperd mix,1,5 years old. He is vivid but a good dog, never hurts people. He also never attacks other dogs. However, he has an attitude of arrogance towards other male dogs, waving his tail proudly, marking everywhere and sometimes humping them. The result is that other huge dogs get provoked by his attitude and coe over and attack him. I always take him out on a leash, which he doesn't follow well when he sees other dogs. Most other dogs are out without a leash. We got attacked twice. Today I got seriously bitten trying to separate them. Actually it was my dog who bit me by accident, as he was trying to bite the attacker. What do you think I can do about this? Keeping him away from other male dogs is what I try to do, but it is not a slolution, because they come towards us. Would neutering make a big difference?

they are weaned and the mom really doesn't pay any attention to them... can I give them to their new owners yet?
The mom doesn't want anything to do with them... she doesn't even go in with them anymore...

Would that be o.k. with you? If the Alien decided you were too sick to live and put you to sleep or decided you shouldn't have babies and castrated you, would that be o.k.? If the answer to any of these questions is no, then why do you do it to inferior creatures you decided to call pets?

I just got my wonderful little min pinscher a few days ago, and she is akc registered and also registered with another agency. She is purebred.She is black and rust. How do i know if she is show material? i would love to show her if possible, i think she would also like it as she loves people and other dogs. any info is greatly appreciated!

i have a bullmastiff called bonny she is a gentle and really caring and an all toghether lovely dog but she is 10 years old and she had a womb infection so she is having a historectomy i would really apreciatte any help on aftercare because or vet isnt really chatty and has left wondering what to do after her op any help would be great because my poor dog reakky does look like shes been in the wars and my family loves her with all our hearts

My cat has a two scratching posts (one vertical, one horizontal) and while he uses them regularly, he still insists on scratching my furniture and carpet runner that is on my stairs. I have tried double sided tape and balloons to deter him. Nothing works! Please recommend a spray that I can try or suggest other ideas. And no, declawing is not an option - too cruel. Thanks!

Does your cat do this . Everytime I eat something . My kitten cries for some of my food . I always leave some friskers cat food he likes . But he just want my food. I leave him food and water . I even him him cat nips.What can I do to stop him from doing this. I sometimes give him a taste . But I think it's bad for a cat to eat humen food. Please help and dont be rude.
