Yes. Round worms are parasites. The best to avoid contamination is simple hygiene. Wash your hands after cleaning the litter box, and after handling the cat. Get the cat to the vet to be treated. The worms can get into the cats intestines and cause vomiting besides showing up in feces.

Yes, if you bite your nails! Alway wash hands after playing with your cat. There is no reason for you cat to have worms if you take him/her to the vet and have the proper flea & worm treatment. Revolution protects against fleas, hearworms, hookworms, roundworms and ear mites. Get it from your vet.

Get the cat treated for it, then you won't have to worry about it.

Can humans get roundworms?? Yes, but you're just as likely to get them from other neighborhood animals as from your own.

And, NO....they don't enter through your feet or skin....you must eat the eggs/larvae......putting fingers in the mouth is a fair way to get them. Even IF you do, it's not a big deal.

only if you happen to get some fecal material on your hands and then put them in your mouth. If you clean the boxes or scoop the boxes then wash your hands and you will be fine. Deworming the cat will prevent any problems

You can get it if your near his stool or cleaning his stool without washing your hands afterward. Make sure to disinfect anywhere he goes to the bathroom. Also, recheck his stool about a month from now to make sure he is rid of the roundworms...
