if you use pee pads, you should only use one. the dog shouldn't be surrounded by them. he obviously hasn't learned where it is you want him to go since you offer him so many options. make him realize it's either outside, or on the pad. if you can't trust him to go on the pad while he's indoors then you should put him in a crate when you aren't watching him, that way he won't use the bathroom. make sure the crate isn't big enough for him to have a pee area and a sleeping area. at 15 months he should be housebroken by now. and if you are home, make sure you keep him in the are you are in, so he doesn't go find somewhere to go to the bathroom.

Whoever instructed you neutering a cat will end it from peeing everywhere is erroneous. Has not something to do with it. First and maximum obtrusive - is his muddle container sparkling? Cats are very sparkling animals and could not circulate right into a container that's not sparkling. which potential, no less than it desires to get replaced as quickly as a week, and the poop would desire to be scooped out on a daily basis. what form of muddle do you utilize? it would desire to not basically like the muddle. Is he a kitten and that i'm assuming you confirmed him the place the muddle container became into? they oftentimes in simple terms would desire to be shown one time and are solid to circulate, because it have been! Is the container able he can easily get right of entry to it and is it a quiet place (like us, cats like their privateness whilst doing their stuff) the 2nd element is, as somebody suggested already, a urinary an infection. it rather is a exceptionally person-friendly reason they gained't pee interior the container. he will would desire to work out the vet approximately that. different issues are, is he mad at you for something? Leaving him on my own, treating him badly, bringing somebody into the homestead they do unlike or that treats them mean (like a clean boyfriend/lady pal)? Is your kitty under pressure approximately some thing - somebody not being wonderful to him, you delivered yet another cat into the homestead or a dogs? think of of your cat as a human - then you definately'll understand them lots extra valuable! solid success!

I don't see a question in this, but I'll assume that you want some advice as to what to do about this. Are you using clean or dirty "pee pads" and newspapers? Maybe he likes peeing on clean surfaces. Also, sometimes dogs will do things they know are "wrong" so as to get attention, especially when they are left alone.

The best idea is to get rid of the diapers and training pads. Consistency in taking him outside and praising him when he goes where he is supposed to. The diapers/pads send him the message that it is okay to go in the house -- we learned the hard way. If he does go in the house, don't smack him...that will encourage him to hide it better. Giving him the "silent treatment" will have more of an impact than a whack on the butt.

Take control. When he pees somewhere grab him and put his nose up to it (not in it) and say bad dog! It's a form of humiliation (for a dog or cat) and soon he will figure out that he shouldn't do that anymore. Then, start asking him if he has to go out... stand by the door you let him out from and ask. Do this every hour and increase the time slowly each day (fifteen minutes) until he starts notifying you himself that he needs to go out.
Good luck and have a great day!!!

He should have gotten the idea by now, since he hasn't the would suggest to create train him. Dogs do not want to pee or poop where they sleep and by create training him you are teaching him bladder control and teaching him that outside is the only place to use the bathroom, we had our puppy trained by 14 weeks old. Sounds cruel, but it's not, you just use the create until she is housebroken completely.

The dog has no clue it needs to pee on the papers. I would consider getting a crate for the dog. It will help him learn.

Those pads and newspaper "tricks" are lame...I have two golden puppies that are only seven weeks old...they are potty trained already without any "tricks."
Just take them out after playing, eating, drinking, or napping (no matter how long the nap was).
My pups now go to the door every time...this only took a week to do...don't lose your patience, they are just pups, stay positive and don't get mad at your puppy.
He he goes to the bathroom in your house...it's your fault, not his.
Be diligent, calm, and patient.
