today i went to a alligator petting zoo and the animals were really sick looking, they were keep in small pins and bunched together, there water was really nasty and one of the alligators nose was messed up really bad, it was crocked and its tounge was sitcking out it lookied like it was in pain, and also they had baby aligators in this little tub and they had no space to move around they were all laying on top of one another!!!

I am looking very seriously into getting a yorkie. Does anyone know which dog is better, the yorkie or the yorkie-poo? Also, I know it is difficult to determine, but are most yorkie-poos small (under 15lbs) as full-grown dogs? Also, is the grooming of a yorkie-poo less demanding than that of a yorkie? Any other mix breeds good to consider? Thanks for your suggestions and advice.

The chick is a couple of months old and quite well. The leg was half bitten off and the bone is exposed. We have cleaned it and wrapped it and she seems healthy. It has been two weeks. It does not seem infected and there is no odor. We want to amputate it by using a rubber band at the joint. Do you think this will work? Or do you have any other ideas? Thanks, Diane.

When I first got my cat, the vet said I should clip her nails on a regular basis. However, my cat absolutely refuses to let that happen! She uses a scratching post all the time. Is that good enough?

My cat has matted hair (Totally not my fault, I was on Vacation and my mom forgot to groom her) and I know it bothers the hell out of them... I have clippers (Electric) and I'd really like to get rid of the mats. My mom wont take her to a Vet OR a Groomer because if cost and the fact that she doesnt want to explain that she didnt take care of her. Since there is no convincing her, can I please have some tips? I want to give her the helmet and boots, hahaha. Please, I need serious answers. Not, "Dont shave your cat..." Or anything like that...

My boyfriend found a snake on the side of the road... I know a little bit about snakes but not enough to tell the difference in the breeds. It has a dark brown base with lighter brown markings but it does not have the distinctive white spots that a reticulated python has. Nor does it resemble a boa...can anyone tell me how to distinguish the breeds by their markings?
