When I was showing my dog, I would always check the Onofrio Dog Shows site on the Internet. That company puts on and manages dog shows all over the country, and there would always be one event fairly close that I could enter my dog in. I checked just now, and found that there is the Southern Oregon Kennel Club Show on September 3-4 in White City , Oregon. Just search for Onofrio Dog Shows. I'm sure there are other companies who put on shows, but that is the one I used. Also, for specialties (dog shows with only one breed), check with the club for that breed...for example, the Oregon Poodle Club or some such name. Nearly every dog breed has both national and state organizations to promote the breed, list breeders, provide information, and rescue services for that breed etc. They would also have information about shows and/or events for that breed. Also, you might just check with a local kennel club. Also, some local dog breed clubs have monthly get-togethers, some of them held in parks, so the dogs can attend.
