Anybody got any suggestions for making a homemade brooder box for chickens?

No jokes please.

And I meant a brooder box you can make at home with stuff that's on hand.

my cat has five 4 weeks old kittens and she had them in a box with a bunch of blankets in it, they are getting to the age that the can almost get out, they get to the top and balance on the egde, im afraid that they are going to fall out. it isnt that far to the ground but for a kitten, its about twice there hight standing up, i dont want them to get hurt, she sees them doing this and does nothing to stop them, is it advisable to move them to a lower box or should i just let them go and what happens, happens, im kind of concerned that they might hurt them selves if they were to fall.

I have a 16-month-old pug and I recently moved to a new apartment. She's never been introduced to stairs before and was a little hesitant at first, but now she flies up them like it's nothing. The only problem is that she's too afraid to go down them. I've tried everything - coaxing her with treats, gently pulling/pushing her, etc. but nothing can seem to work. What can I do to teach her to walk down the steps and stop being so fearful?

My neighbors let their cats roam freely and they've all started using my flower beds as litter boxes. They've also started "marking" the side of my house. I have a cat too, but he's not allowed outside unless I'm with him, so I don't want anything that will hurt him. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I am transporting my pets through United Airlines and I was wondering if anyone knows whether or not I can rent kennels through them. otherwise I'll buy them from wal-mart.

Thanks for your time.

I have a 4 year old male Chow-Chow and a 3 year old male Dreat Dane. We are guessing that they are trying to figure out who the alpha male is but they fight non stop. Last week, they were in the house together and broke into a big fight. They knocked down my tv, my 400 dvd collection, it was a mess.
The chow-chow ALWAYS starts the fight. If my great dane walks past him, he snaps and they start fighting. The problem is definitely with the chow-chow. Me and my husband are currently expecting a child and the chow-chow is becoming very unpredictable.
When he's alone, he's the best but when the great dane is around, all h*ll breaks loose. We can't really afford a professional trainer at this point in time. Can anyone suggest something we can try at home?

My male persian cat who is about 4 years old has this habit of getting mad. There was once where he stared down at my friends black clothes in where he growled fiercely . He was vaccinated. Do you think this is a common behavior? Or something to do with loneliness (he's the only cat i have who lives in the attic and sleeps on the roof.)?

I have a shepherd/lab puppy (6 months old) and whenever my son has a monster tantrum i.e. he starts yelling, hitting etc.... my dog goes crazy. He stars barking, almost as if he is trying to tell him to stop doing it. I don't want the dog to do this, so I once squirted him with water, and he stopped. Is he trying to protect me, or is he being aggressive?

She is two years old and she gets this really bad odor often. I have to bathe her once a week because of it. It usually takes just a couple of days for the odor to return. Sometimes it is so bad that I just can't stand to be near her. Especially, when she gets this really bad funky odor. The really funky bad smell only occurs rarely though. What could be causing this? She has been spayed. She is an indoor dog...only goes outside to potty and play with the kids for a short while. Any help is appreciated.
