My cat had ringworm. The vet gave my cat a shot which only cost $30. Then I had to change ALL the litter. Change everything. Wash the bedsheets the cat sleeps on. Clean the carrier the cat is in. Most importantly CHANGE THE ENTIRE LITTER BOX and clean it out. Use lyson or soap and water. If you do not, the eggs still could be in the litterbox.

Ringworm is very contagious. I rescued 2 of my cats and they both had ringworm. I ended up getting it all over my body. I was in college at the time and when I brought them home for the weekend my whole family and their pets also got ringworm. I took my kittens to the vet, and they were given several rounds of a ringworm shot. I also had to bathe them in special shampoo. I had to go to the dermatologist to get rid of my ringworm. If your mom has quarantined the cat, I don't think that you will get ringworm. I hope that the cat gets better soon.

Anti fungal medication. Your vet will have the appropriate dosing schedule.

There are no worms with ringworm. It is not in the cat poop. It is on the skin it could be spread by close contact to both people and other animals.

you should take your cat to the vet they can give you an anti-fungal cream. ringworm (unlike round worm and tape worm) is not actually a worm it's a fungus (like athletes foot) It is VERY contagious and all other animals (and yourself) should be checked well.

Get some anti fungal cream and keep the cat in a sort of quarantine it is highly infectious to both humans and animals, so wash your hands!! It itches like bloody hell, i had it when i was a kid so i know. You can also use tea tree oil but anti fungal cream is much quicker!!
