Unless your Doberman has an inpeccable pedigree, has had health tests (OFA and/or PennHip, CERF/PRA, vonwildebrands, thyroid) done and passed, been temperament tested and has been evaluated for breed worthiness by at least 3 knowledgable people/judges of the breed then DON'T breed!!!
There are far too many ill bred dogs out there as well as rescues full of dogs/puppies.

Is your do male or female? If your dog is female you don't charge. If your dog is male then you need to find out how much a puppy doberman costs you either get the price of a puppy or pick of the litter.

Search the web for "stud fees + doberman".
Don't bother unless he is an outstanding dog; hip scored/ocd tested whichever is suitable for the breed; vaccinated and wormed by the vet; and has passed the temperament test - I know thats voluntary but animals inherit their intelligence from their mother and their emotional life from their father, so if he's nervous or dominant aggressive don't pass on those genes.

Is he a breed champion? Are his parents and grandparents?
Does he have obedience titles?
Has he been tested for and shown clear of vonWillbrand's disease?
Has he been checked for for Brucellosis - a canine VD?

If the answers to all of those questions is "no" - then you'll get nothing for a stud fee.

If you breed him, are you prepared for the fact that he may begin lifting his leg on everything in your house? And maybe mounting your kids? And being more aggressive in general?

If he is regerstired, like AKC, or CKC, or even UKC, or all of the above, you good charge, only if he is fullblood and regerstired, between $300.00- $800.00, eight hundred if he is very poupler and has champion bloodlines and stuff like that, but if he is not reg. then i'd only pay between a hunderd and $200.00 at the most, but they have to be fullblooded.
