We have a metal one now, but its rusting and we are wondering whether to get a metal one or a plastic one. Any brand recommendations would also be helpful.

i THINK i want a small female dog because i have heard that they dont "mark" places like a male dog. I have 2 outside dogs that just wont co operate in the house, door bell rings and they just lie there, plus they are NOT housbroken and it appears for them its harder that if i had a YOUNGER small house dog...THANKS...Tony

I've noticed that every time I go outside of my house when there are birds near my house, they hear me coming out and fly away. According to my dad, he says that birds have excellent hearing, and they can be startled at any particular movement or sound coming into their direction. Well, I want to take pictures of birds and I was hoping if anybody has a tip as to how I can capture one species of bird on camera without making a sound to frighten them.

tell me that I should come get it. They think it was taken away from mom to soon. They said it sits in a corner and hisses at them. They are afraid it is going to starve. Don't they just need to give it some time? The kitten will eat if they are hungry, right? Please help... I think they need this new addition to thier home.

I have a 3 1/2 yr old English Bulldog, and is a very sweet lovable dog. When someone knocks on the door, it doesn't phase him but I want him to bark at the door when someone knocks so that people know there is a dog in the house. Most dogs have a natural ability to pick up good people vs bad people but not this one LOL. We had someone break into our car once and the guy came back and returned my wallet with everything in tact (no money or credit cards were even in there) and asked for a reward for finding it etc. Well, it would've been nice for our bulldog to bark and make his presence known. Anyone with any ideas?
Experienced answers only please!

I own 2 arabians. When I went to an open show I was told i was stupid for buying such spooky horses. My horses rarely ever spook. All horses spook. I wanted to know how others felt.

Is it hard to do, easy to do? Do we have to go through specific channels?

My puppy is a male American Eskimo. I have two other Eskies but they never barked as bad as Storm does. He keeps us up all night whether he is outside in the kennel or inside in his crate. We try tp keep him inside but he disturbs us so much that we end up taking him outside.
He is healthy and well fed he just wants constant attention,I guess.

My cat started going number 1 on the carpet. This is a change because it used to be only #2 and only once every 7-9 days. This is what we have already done:
1. Moved the cat litter.
2. Added a cat litter box.
3. Changed cat litter to every kind imaginable including this one kind that is "guarenteed to work."
4. We have had a covered litterbox.
5. We have had an open litterbox.
6. The litterbox has been in the open.
7. The litterbox has been in a privite area.
8. We went to the vet and got a clean bill of health.
9. She is affectionate to both of us (my husband and I)
10. She used to live in a dump with tons of other cats.
11. The house she lives in now is VERY clean.
12. It always happens when are NOT in the room.

What can we do!?

I got a dog from these people who basically lived like pigs. He's 70% wolf. Beautiful Dog! And supposibly 30% Malibu.
They didn't take care of there home and they let the dog do just about everything! They fed him human food all the time and now he won't eat his regular dog food. Isn't human food bad for dogs? He won't listen when I call him away from an area I don't want him around. He jumps on people and licks their faces. And he jumps on my couch and furniture. He just basically does what he wants.
My boyfriend and I rescued him because we felt he wasn't being taken care of too well. We're taking him to the vet tomorrow. He has flees but I don't think they are that bad yet. I think he may have worms because he only weighs 45.4 pounds. He should be alot more filled out and way bigger for a cross between a Wolf and Malibu! They say he's 2. Years or months? I don't know.
How can I train him properly without shouting at him?

I'm looking for a puppy in my area that is free or has a very low fee. I am kinda lonely at home, and need a puppy to call my own.
