There is QUITE a process!!! It can involve 6 months of quarantine. Get info soon because there is a process to get around the process. The dog has to be microchipped and have blood work done and sent to an "approved lab". It must be up to date on vaccines.
You need to get the process started as soon as you can once you know you are moving.
Do an online search for animals caoming into the UK and you will find all the info.
www.defra.gov.uk/animalh/quarantine Follow that site..there is a PAWS procedure to do it the quicker way.

Yes, there is an entire process depending on the country and it's rules. For most, they need documentation of their shots plus whatever shots are needed for that country you are going to. They also may need a Quarantine period which can range for a few days inside your house to 6 months at a facility. It would be best to check with the tourist bureau or the embassy here representing that country and ask them for specific information. Good luck!! DOGS RULE!!

well it depends where you are coming from and going to. Are you going by air? ...I have taken animals (that I adopted) back home from Romania and Dubai, back to the states. Had no problem. I had to get their shots...and a little passport for them. They have to go through the health department at the airport...but I never had any problems with it. I am getting ready to take another cat home from Lebanon to the states...same process. If you are not sure...call your local travel agent...they will give you the proper course of action. Some countries do require a boarding period for animals though...not sure about GB. Also...depending on the airline..your may not be able to fly with your pet in the cargo hold (summer month=heat). They have rules for that. My cats are small so they have always ridden with me in the cabin. Better to just call the travel agent.

Your pet will have to have health certificates from your vet and once he/she gets to the new country he will have to stay in some type of quarantine for a specific time period.
Each country is different and has certain requirements but you should be able to find out from the agency who will be issuing you your passport or work visas.

If I remember correctly there is a long wait... 6months to a year? for bringing your pet in from another country. Your best bet is to contact the Embassy/Consulate and find out exactly what is the exact procedures and such. Good Luck !

yes (easy). You can call the airlines you are flying on and tell them you have a dog that you want to take with you. They will tell u what u have to do in order for u to take the dog. They might charge you some money and you might have to buy a kennel.

regrettably in case you doubt the nature of your canines, you want to remove the canines from endangering little ones in case you may't save it far off out of your little ones then seem for some one to undertake it. it would acclimate to the recent project once the toddler receives somewhat larger even though it quite is a calculated probability. I rescued a Lhasa Apso in a similar project and not talked concerning the habit that his unique vendors did that inspire them to positioned him in a seem after the position he replaced into 2 hours far off from being gassed because no human being would contact him with the form of acceptance. He replaced right into a wierd spouse for my Male Siberian Husky who loved each baby he ever met so it ought to were reliable celebration. reliable success.

You should get your doggie microchiped, because if he gets lost that'll be bad.
