I'm looking for a puppy in my area that is free or has a very low fee. I am kinda lonely at home, and need a puppy to call my own.

For free? That worries me. If you can't afford to adopt from a shelter how in the world will you be able to care for the dog? They need stuff. Leashes, collar. bowls, bed, toys, tooth brush and paste.........They also need premium quality dog food, not cheap. Oh, the vet care! Besides the initial shots, worming and neutering/spaying they need annual care, including dental. As they get older they need semi-annual care. That doesn't even include when it gets ill or injured and needs a vet and it WILL get ill and/or injured. What if the dog develops a condition that requires constant monitoring and medication, like diabetes? Please, rethink this. Find an interest, hobby. Get out meet people. Have on line pen pals.

Look on a search engine for animal shelters in your area. There is usually more than one. Then call and ask to visit. The staff will allow you to walk the dog and see if you two have some "chemistry." There are so many great dogs in shelters, mine was. She is awesome.

There is a great site called "craigslist.org" where you can find anything at all you would like. The site is awesome and free to use. Check it out. All you do is click on the city you live in and take it from there.

Puppies are not free. They need vet visits, shots, need to be spayed or neutered and food.

You can go to your local animal shelter or the pound, they also have cute little "pound puppies" too.

try looking in the classifieds or go to the pund and adopt one if you don't mind it not being a purebreed you won't get a purebreed free
