I like dogs a ton, though I would only have a cat if I owned a farm. I like cats, but not as household pets. Their independent nature strikes me as being better suited for a come as you choose lifestyle. My grandparents had a farm and cats that they fed on their porch, but would roam the farm, especially the barns.

Killer whales and polar bears would be great pets. Too bad they require very specific environments that the average person couldn't provide. If I was a millionaire, I would have polar bears and killer whales, no question! But since I'm just me, my three cats work for now! And I'm going to add an English bulldog to the family in a few years!

I love my cat, Blue. She is like a little child. She follows everywhere, and cries whe I go outside, or leave in the mornings for work. I also have a dog, Kasey. She is adorable!

Of the choices you gave, cat all the way. My wife and I love giraffes, and the close relative of the giraffe, the okapi. We like them because they are very different animals from just about anything out there. Plus we get to feed giraffes at times so that makes us very excited.

We have 3 kitties and love and adore them. Then there is a little gerbil my daguhter has and we sued to have an iquana and 2 geggos, my oldest has them now in her own place. If i had a bigger place and owned it i would most likely have a ZOO of small critters from mice to a large lizard and even a snake.
I love love love them all
( no bugs though lol and i hate spiders )

I like cockatoos and seahorses :-)
My boyfriend and I both work mostly from home and we have alot of time to spend with our pets (which is good for the birds, since they are as smart and demanding as 3 year olds).
I'm getting some seahorses in this week... and can't wait to put them in our cycled 55 gallon aquarium!
