I have a 5mo. old puppy female about 40 lbs. She gets sick a lot. She had diarreah for one week, I started to feed her rice and hamburger. That helped . Tonight , I gave her chicken and rice, something different. She threw that up later. Then she threw up some water later after that. She also barfs in the car a lot. What advice do you have for her sensative stomach?

I'm an animal lover and have raised puppies, cockatiels, budgies and had a Beta Fish that died in the past few years. 2 puppies died and they cried in pain. The birds showed suffering when they died. Even new hatched baby birds that I tried to rescue acted like they didn't want to die or cried in pain when hurt. I asked my vet but he said the dog that seemed to be in pain was just coming out of surgery, being nutered, and was druggy. I'm a Christian and know people have a soul but do all God's creatures feel pain and suffering like people do? I wonder?

I live in Defiance Ohio and I was cited for not having insurnace but several people have told me that you don't have to have the insurance any longer, my dog is fenced in and has never been aggressive with anyone. I am curious and cannot find anything about this.

I have looked up a lot of sites but am unsure on who to order from and whether I will get a genuine product, not counterfeit, and not pay an arm and a leg for shipping.

My mother adopted two baby ducks after their mother was hit by a car. Around the same time, someone gave her a baby chicken, just a little bit older than the ducks. (She lives in the country). The ducks immediatly latched onto the chicken (which turned out to be a rooster). There are two small and one large pond by Mom's house and she wants the ducks to move from her yard to the ponds. However, the ducks are scared of the water (maybe since their mother never took them in?). They even throw a fit if you spray them with a water hose and won't go near the sprinklers in the yard. Is there anyway to get the ducks used to the water?

My family has three dogs. A large black german shephard who has sight problems, a very old britany spanial and a 2 year old shih tzu.The two larger dogs spend most of their time out side and the shih tzu is about 50/50 (inside/outside) They all eat the same type dogfood, stay in the same yard and use the same shampoo and flee and tick prevention. My problem is the to larger outside dogs are constantly pulling the fur off their backs and we have no idea why. We suspected thats flees were the problem so we changed their flee prevention and shampoo and even sprayed the entire 5 acre lot with flee spray. That did nothing. Then we read that it could be caused by poor nutrition causing the skin to dry out and itch so we bought a higher grade dog food and that also did nothing. What has us so baffled is that it has only effected the two larger dogs, not the shih tzu. We do know that the dogs' skin is extremly dry. What are some other options to soothe the dry skin and help their coats?

We've followed all of the proper procedures (i.e. keeping them apart for a few days, letting them get used to each other's smell, supervising their encounters and letting the encounters get more prolonged as the days went by, etc.). The first few times the older kitten hissed a lot. Now, he doesn't hiss or growl, but he just chases the little one, traps him into a corner, pins him down, and bites his neck or stomach. The little one doesn't seem *that* upset--he only cried a few times, and we separated them, but I'm still concerned he'll get hurt. Is this normal? What, if anything, can we do differently? How do we know when they are "ready" to be alone together?

I have a 2 year old bearded dragon who will not eat anything and hardly moves around his cage. Last week I added some new sand too his cage and it was the same color as he had so i don't think it was the sand. But I also used some windex on the glass. I am not sure what is wrong with him. Please help my son and I love this dragon and do not have a lot of money to take him to the vet.

I can't bathe them every day. If I could make a solution to sponge bathe them with it would make life a lot more pleasant. They sleep with me.
