Why would anyone give away a purebred dog?? There is no such thing as a teacup Maltese. I have a Maltese and they only come in one size.

Teacups are VERY expensive!!! Malteses are very great dogs and if ufind a good breeder or adopt one that is NOT teacup, it will be just as good. I wanted a teacup too, but I found out that they have lots of problembs because they are so tiny.
Good Luck!!!!

Theirs no such thing is Teacup dogs. They're usually unhealthy, & they don't fit the breed standards

Teacups are "RUNTS" much smaller than the average sizes, you will see, are sickly. In any dog, in any size you can find sickly dogs due to bad breeding practices. Teacups do need some special care as they are so small they can burn up their energy reserves quite quickly so you do have to watch for hypoglycemia (low blood sugar).

Why wont you just save up your money for one? Remember the saying...you get what you paid for. If you do find one thats free it might have health problems. Besides, there are no such things as teacups.

i cant stand these ppl breeding these small dogs even smaller. a Maltese is small enough. when you start to breed the size down you end up with ALL KINDS of health issues. after all a dog that size is considered abnormal. its not recognized by the AKC *American kennel club*, why don't you try and find a nice small breed through your local pound, shelter, humane society, or rescue group. and stop fishing for defective abnormalities...aka designer dogs!!
