FEMA held a press conference giving reporters 15 minutes notice. No reporters were able to show up in that short of time so FEMA employees asked questions in there place.

Does anyone know of a webpage where I could look up the gas prices of a certain area (country or state - preferably state however) and select a specific year?

Do you think that any American citizen knew what was going to happen on September 11, 2001?

And, if so, do you think they were in positions of government, leadership, or big business?

I am not a conspiricy theorist, but lately I've been watching films like Syriana, Farenheight 911, etc. And with all the corruption these days you have to wonder.

Its true that lots of people predicted attacks of the nature that took place on 9/11. But did anyone know about those specific attacks?

Mexican firefighters came to the aid of California fires!!

thats right some Mexican firefighters volunteered to come to the united states to help put out the fires these men risk their lives and work in unknown territory to help but out fires that arent even going on in their country is that heroic or what im pretty sure that the overworked Californian firefighters could use any help they get

I asked for £300 and the cash machine only gave me £200. I've contacted the company (it's after hours, so no help there) but what hope do I have of getting my money back? My bank stgatement shows that £300 was withdrawn.

who got knocked over and killed last night at 7pm on a motorway whilst crossing it. What i'd like to know is why the parents let them out to play at 7pm in woods alone? Surely the poor little lads should have been indoors at that time. Should the parents get done for neglect?

Pretty Chilling - read to the bottom. Try it out.
If you are a skeptical person - still read on as it's actually very interesting!!
This is actually really freaky!! (Mainly the end part, but read it all first)

1) New York City has 11 letters
2) Afghanistan has 11 letters.
3) Ramsin Yuseb has 11 letters. (The terrorist who threatened to destroy the Twin Towers in 1993)
4) George W Bush has 11 letters.

This could be a mere coincidence, but this gets interesting:
1) New York is the 11th state.
2) The first plane crashing against the Twin Towers was flight number 11.
3) Flight 11 was carrying 92 passengers. 9 + 2 = 11
4) Flight 77 which also hit Twin Towers , was carrying 65 passengers. 6 + 5 = 11
5) The tragedy was on September 11, or 9/11 as it is now known. 9 + 1+ 1 =11
6) The date is equal to the US emergency services telephone number 911.

Sheer coincidence..?

Read on and make up your own mind:

1) The total number of victims inside all the hi-jacked planes was 254.
2 + 5 + 4 = 11
2) September 11 is day number 254 of the calendar year.
3) The Madrid bombing took place on 3/11/2004. 3 + 1 + 1 + 2 + 4 = 11.
4) The tragedy of Madrid happened 911 days after the Twin Towers incident.

Now this is where things get totally eerie:

The most recognized symbol for the US , after the Stars & Stripes, is the Eagle. The following verse is taken from the Koran, the Islamic holy book:

"For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced: for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah and there was peace."

That verse is number 9.11 of the Koran.

I've read questions about which political party will BENEFIT from the fires and is it totally political for Bush to declare this a disaster area.

To me that is cruel and heartless when you look at the millions of people that have been affected by these fires!

JUST IN SAN DIEGO COUNTY, I heard that 950k people have been evacuated. 1,000 homes have been destroyed. At least 1 person has died. Firefighters and civilians have been burned. People have a hard time breathing with all the smoke.

My main problems are not being able to breathe and I've had a headache for 3 days. My cat is freaking out and I'm alone since my husband is out of town on business.

Am I over too sensitive because I am in the middle of this disaster or are these a bunch of twits that don't know what it's like and don't care?

If officials said the fires are NOT terrorists why is the "Homegrown Terrorist Prevention Act of 2007" being rushed into legislature.

HOMEGROWN TERRORISM- The term `homegrown terrorism' means the use, planned use, or threatened use, of force or violence by a group or individual born, raised, or based and operating primarily within the United States or any possession of the United States to intimidate or coerce the United States government, the civilian population of the United States, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives.

sounds great but read between the lines...the Secretary and his various deligates can easily identify an group of peaceful protestors and say "We have evidence that suggest these individuals were planning on using force to coerce the population into their idealism."
and boom--instant terrorists "BECAUSE WE SAID SO"...and once considered terrorists by the defence department, the constitution is void.
