After just watching the documentary on C4,I still cannot understand how he turned Wacko.He was the most popular and talanted man on Earth.

Michael Jackson and Britney Spears have a lot in common, they both started out performing at a young age and ended up whacked out.

What makes you think he is "wacko" I bet he'd think you're pretty crazy too, especially if the media caught your every move on camera. Nothing happened to him, Michael Jackson is the same as he was in the 80's. To quote Michael, "The bigger the celebrity, the bigger the target." And as you have said, he is the most popular and talented man on earth, which also makes him the biggest target for media to criticize. try walking a day in his shoes, you'd probably discover he's not as weird as most people think.

I remember his heyday quite well and I find it sad to see how far he's fallen. People need to remember he was pushed as a young child into an entertainment career by his abusive father. Another reason I can see for his problems was the conflicting views of his parents. His mother was a devout Jehovah's Witness who frowned on celebrating birthdays and playing cards. His father on the other hand, regularly booked his sons for gigs in bars and other dives while they were still underage. He not only condoned allowing groupies to have sex with his older boys but he also participated himself. Michael himself has said that he saw his older brothers having sex with groupies in hotel rooms but he always pretended he was asleep. Since he was so young at the time, seeing such activities undoubtedly traumatized him and it's likely he didn't really understand what was going on.

His upbringing then his subsequent fame screwed him up.
He's never been able to lead a normal life.
