First of all, what the heck is 'nappy headed'? and how is it rude or racist? I dont even know what it means, secondly the word 'ho's' is part of the American lexicon now, its common for millionaire rappers and other 'artists' to call women "ho's".... finally, has anyone heard Michael Weiner aka Michael Savage? Now that man should be banished from radio, not this guy....I don't even give a damn for Imus, but Rush and Savage are the two real racist, talk show people out there.

Don Imus

Do you think that he should be fired for what he said or do you think that it was just a slip of the mouth.

Gosh, I sure know I am!

I can't wait to hear the women break down their views on certain issues!

Can they forgive Imus? Is the coach able to forgive? What do they think of the Reverend Al? Who is the teams best ticker? Who has the straightest hair?

This is going to be great. I sure hope the media really covers every single aspect of it. Over and over and over and over.

It's not as though Sharpton's a perfect human being either. Would it be fair to pull out HIS less than perfect past just so he'll shut up??

Should the Black Community be to blame for the Imus comment since the term hoes was popularized Rap music?
The term "hoes" was popularized by the black community in Rap and Hip Hop. I've even heard the term Nappy Headed used by the Nappy Roots in hip hop. My question is why is it okay for the black community to use these words but when a white person repeats them it's soooooooo wrong? If words are going to be used in popular culture and the repeated by whites are we really to be blamed? Also, I cant name the number of times I have watched BET comedy and whites have been made fun of. I just tired of Al sharpton and Jesse Jackson targeting whites and making them look like the bad guys when it goes both ways!

Is there a double standard? Imus was wrong and is being suspended, but I have to ask why is his comment any worse than the hundreds of rap & hip hop songs that belittle women of every race and use worse terminology and more graphic sexual terms on a daily basis.

i've just watched fox news on the sky tv network here in the uk and i dont know weather to laugh or cry.
the reason for this was the ludicrous sound effects between news stories and between diffrent clips in the same story. what the hell is going on there? (the swoosh effect seemed to be a big favourate by the way)
do you like a news show or do you try to turn the news into entertainment?
are all the american networks the same or do they all use these sound effects?

Let's say I have some contacts in a tv station who can get a meeting for me with the relevant people. How would I present a concept for a tv show? (With some, but limited, resources)

While every media indication is that Imus' comments were racially repulsive. I'd like to hear the phrase he used in its full context. Does anyone know where I can find the audio of his comments?

Don Imus has been relieved of his airtime for his inappropriate remarks. To me it's well deserved. He'll next probably have a tuff time booking guests, etc. That's happened behind the scenes elsewhere. Due to hard work and allitle light shown it's at an end.
He's got seasoned chops and do you think America is ready to forgive him once he gets back?

I actually think the term "nappy headed ho's" is funny.I'm not racist, but I enjoy a good joke. Does anyone out there actually get offended other than Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson?

As someone who was fired for being politically incorrect I can testify that it didn't set me on the path to correct thinking and talking. It just made me even more cynical and uncorrect. Good old Uncle Joe (Stalin) had it right and its about time we just kill anyone who dares cross the line of correct thinking

I'm pretty sure that Chaney and his pals at Haliburton must have coached Don UImus about how to make racist remarks. Oh, and Mitt Romney probably helped, too. What do you think?
