He simply made a statement that ment no harm, IT MEANT NO HARM and was supposed to be a joke and the black community is blowing it way out of proportion. He referred to a women's basketball team as Nappy headed hoes. i thought i should also say that if a black person said this it wouldn't be all in the media and that black people say racial things like this and also things like the "N" word and they do not get punished..in my opinion Don Imus shouldn't be suspended or have any punishment and the black community shouldn't take everything so seriously and shouldn't be hypocrites..I mean no offense to black people i just think that if they are allowed to call each other racial names and call white people racial names i think it should be completely appropriate if white people called black people racial names.

He called the Rutgers Scarlet Knights women's basketball team (currently the #2 ranking women's college team in the country) a bunch of "nappy-headed ho's"
Let's be clear on this, we're talking about a group of female college students who just made it to the final round of the NCAA championships.
But hey in Imus' world, if you're black and female, you're just too damn sensitive if you expect to be treated with respect just because you're a college-educated elite athlete.
Personally, I'm not amused. And this may be the first time Al Sharpton and I have ever been on the same side of an issue.

Don Imus described a womens basketball team as " Some knappy headed hoes." ( Then he offered a sincere apology.)
That's it.
That's what this whole thing is about.
