When I saw the news about that my jaw literally dropped. That's probably one of the worst things I've ever heard - taking hostages in an Amish schoolhouse, tying up preteen girls and then shooting them in the head execution style? There is no way this man was sane.

What the f*ck is wrong with people?

I am a very happy person as a rule but today as I was sitting in the car loop at school to pick up my grandson from school, a fallen deputy was being laid to rest. He and his k-9 were shot and killed doing a routine traffic stop last week. And as the radio palyed a Vince Gill very sad song I started to cry. I cried for the dead officer and his K-9. I cried for the 5 little girls who were killed by a crazy man. I cried for every soldier who has been taken from us. Although I am proud of all these people I am very saddened that they had to be taken from us. I have never felt so sorrowful in all my life.

Has this ever happened to you?

How many senseless crimes will it take for the people of this country to impose some meaningfull restrictions on gun ownership? How many kids have to be killed? Every "Right" protected by the Constitution has certain restrictions, even the right of Free Speech. Why is it so taboo to restrict gun ownership, particularly assault rifles, grenade launchers, automatic weapons, etc.?
Isn't it time the "silent majority" stands up and fights for gun control?

Why does a person who commits a murder then go an kill themselves? It seems like they had no problem killing the person, so why not stick around for the consequence?

As a parent I have to ask how can we keep our kids safe at school when their is so much violence in America today. I personally think schools should be locked or somthing. Something has to be done but what?It seams like in the news latley their have been so many school shooting. Troubled adults kids,and guns a deadly combo. What can we do? Mom of two in Kansas.

Musharraf did it again! His latest spoof is the preposterous account of Kargil defeat meted out to Pakistani armed forces by India. Rather than humbly accepting yet another defeat and learning from it, he is now crying false at the top of his voice hoping against hope that the truth would be altered by repeating lies over and over again.
Is Pakistani populace so naïve to buy this? What this guy is up to?

Why would someone want to stoop to a all time moral low so the can exercise the freedom of speech...a funeral is a time where the family can say goodbye and should be allowed to grieve in peace....i am appalled that people would do this....how would they feel if people protested at there brother, child, sister, mother, fahter, etc. funeral.....im sure they would want the some respect shown.....so they could grieve in peace

I am ignorant, but after so many shooting of innocent children and others,why is there is no banning of guns? Maybe it's difficult to make everyone hand in their guns but isn't this an obvious solution? I'm not from US by the way, and I'm curious. Is it because the need to defend with gun is greater than the dangers of it

In the past 3 weeks 2 kids have been caught with guns at my kids high school. We live in a suburban area - where you normally do not see a lot of violence in schools. This problem is epidemic - and something needs to be done - quickly!!!!!!

BTW - I think the Federal government should have to fund the metal detectors! Help protect our kids! How many more kids, teachers have to die before action is taken. Do not leave this up to local governments - this should be a federal mandate.

It seems that Americans feel that they can do anything they want without consequences, so long as it doesn't immediatly hurt anyone. Some examples of this are: Have as many children as they want, use as much gas as they want, eat as much as you want...the list goes on and on.

It's great that we are a rich country, but the more we consume, means the less there is for the future. It seems endless now, but the oil age will run out eventually.

Does anyone see this as selfish? I know you probably think I am a bleeding heart liberal...I'm not. If you committed a violent crime, I would support your death penalty. It's just that I woke up and did some research a few years ago.

What we do now, affects everyone in the world in the future. I hope I remember to laugh when it costs too much to fill up even my small car. I am definitely not above saying, "I told you so..."

do you think it has something to do when he was a boy that he was snob by girls cause his too ugly no girls would actually date him or maybe he was dump by girls when he was just a student so he blame all the woman for giving him a miserable life . cause girl u will never feel how bad when u girls or pretty girls, try to snob guys. they lost thier self-esteem in life so they suffer lonliness and become psychotic. i mean u girl are insensitive about guys did u know girls that guys are dreaming just to be with a pretty woman . but if he feel that he is being harrashed by girls caused he think his not good-looking enough to be with girls. then u girls are just like killing those guys so next time have a heart dont be insensitive to guys if ur gonna dump them do it in a nice way okay thanks
