In response to the shooting in Lancaster County, I have seen multiple photos and film clips with the Amish plastered all over the media. These people are dealing with enough trauma, it is unthinkable to me that in our news coverage, we have to capture them on film so blatantly, which goes against Amish beliefs.

Of course some pics and video is going to get an individual in the background and there are some creative ways to get pictures such as in silhouette. But CNN.com (and they aren't the only ones) has a closeup of an Amish man talking to someone right on the FRONT PAGE! And other media features closeups of Amish children playing, and Amish bystanders at the school milling around consoling each other. I think this is horribly disrespectful.

Please reporters and photographers...show some tact.

My Community drinks it.-Some bottlers such as Dannon have begun adding fluoride to their water.
According to a 2002 study,67% of Americans were living in communities with fluoridated water.

Many mistake Fluoridation of water as a dental precaution. Studies show that if Fluoride does not touch your teeth, it will have no effect on your dental health. So why drink Fluoride?

The first occurrence of fluoridated drinking water was in German Nazi prison camps. They found that mass-medicating water with fluoride was a way to "sterilize humans and force them into a into a calm submission.”

"I am appalled at the prospect of using water as a vehicle for drugs. Fluoride is a corrosive poison that will produce serious effects on a long range basis. Any attempt to use water this way is deplorable."

I am proud to be a part of the Yahoo community. I am proud of my fellow members that brought Tom Foley to justice when the REPUBLICANS wouldn't.
God Bless those brave members. God Bless Yahoo.

Why wasn't something done sooner about Tom Foley? If he was a democrat would they have done something sooner? Why is he blamming alcohol? Can anybody do that and get away with these things?
Is this the Clintons fault, the media, 9/11 widows or the liberals fault?
Maybe Jeff Gannon could sit in for him until we elect somebody new.

All of those school shootings, all of the GIRLS murdered. How come the boys are big wusses? The only "real man" was the principal shot in Cazenovia, he tackled his attacker. If any of those guys really cared for the girls in any of the schools, they would lay own there life for them. What is your opinion?

Do you think having schools hire a security guard and have people go through a security check would do any good (the same type of check you need to go through to enter police stations and government offices)

somehow kick the gun off of his hands?
lets say it's a golden opportunity that you're right in front with him in your reaching distance

i honestly think that if there were no children i might just do that
but if there are children, chances are guns can accidently go off

Movie being filmed in my town - How can I be an extra and exactly what is an extra?
I'm not exactly sure if an extra is just extra people that are already involved with the film or not, but at one of the buildings in my town they put up a big sign with EXTRAS > > > > and a big arrow pointing into the doorway. Does this apply to anyone who wants to be in the film who isn't an actor, like local people from the town?

If it is, what sort of roles do they look for? The movie is based on a presidential speech in a small town in Texas. I live in a Canadian town and they've decorated the town center park with big statues and huge American flags and red white & blue flag "fans"/banners and the Texas state flag. Our town looks like a Classic American town with Americana Victorian homes so I guess that's why they are filming here. Plus were only 1 hour from the NY state border.

So anyways, I'm only 16. Am I too young? And does extras mean anyone can go sign up to be an extra?!?!?

I believe he was serving time in Thailand for crimes committed while living there. It seems that the criminal justic and law enforcements organizations in California will not be able to detain him for much longer due to gross incompetence. Can we legally send him back?

And what do you think the responce would have been by Clinton ?
Immediately after Clinton said he came the closest to getting bin laden , I'd have asked him ,- "If you were so down on terrorists-why did you pardon 16 of them on your last day in office "?

Democrat congressman Mel Reynolds , convicted of 12 counts of sexual assault , obstruction of justice & solicitation of child pornography in 1995 ; but thanks to Bill Clinton , only served 42 months of his sentence . Why ? Clinton knew what reynolds did . The person who held on to Foley's disgusting Instant messages for 3 years until recently giving them to ABC news , was not thinking about the protecting the pages . That person is as guilty as Foley for aiding & abetting . It sure wasn't a Republican playing politics . Foley would have been out on his dumb ear long ago , otherwise . Past examples regarding sexual misconduct , as well as a convicted sex offender who solicited child pornography . have gone rewarded by the Clinton Administration . No wonder the Foley incident was aparently used as "the prize before the election". Disgusting .

would you leave if he told you too.....after he let the some of the children go but still held children hostage?

I wouldn't......he'd have to shoot me first....just wondering how many other people could not make themselves leave that situation. With the three latest school shootings I am feeling rather disgusted with some of the people we entrust out children too.

Supposedly the cold case squad from the Netherlands is going to close the case and Nov.1st is the court date to absolve all the players involved. The question is, if they close the case, then the FBI and all the US resources can take it over and preform thier own investigation. Is this true or false?
