I just wondered if they ever marry outside their own people, if not would it be a very inbred society? Suppose no chance of any of them reading this if they don't hold with modern technology.

The God has given us uncountable gifts and *blessings. What is the most precious of all and why? To me it is Quran and the reasons:
* It is a complete book of guidance and success in both worlds.
* It guides you in all aspects of life
* It brings enormous tranquility and peace
* It cures the diseases of heart and soul
& It motivated Muslims to found all modern sciences, Universities, laboratories, maths etc. etc.
* Quran is behind every modern invention as without those early inventions including Arabic numbers, decimal system, invention of crucial chemicals etc. etc. no modern progress could be even dreamed
* it gives us prefect law and constituion
* Following it prevents from AIDS and depression. Proof: See the incidence of these in Muslim coutries while fact is that now Muslims are not following Quran to a great extent. Had they followed there would be lot omore blessings
* It strengthens the family ties and human relations: See incidence of divorces in Muslim countries

yeah. and if a trucker can do so at some amish school, another might just pull off the highway and walk into my private prep school. i think i have good reason tobe afraid. there's no barriers, nothing stopping it, except one old secruity guard. what should i do? and does anyone wonder if this might be some sort of terrorist attack? it seems incredible, but maybe they could have engineered it somehow. first some wacko guy goes on his myspace and shows off guns. then the next day he shoots people with them. then a pervert goes into a school, rapes the girls at gunpoint, then shoots one and himself. then this trucker dude who pulled over into an amish school. killed 5 girls. i mean, at least im a guy, and it was girls who were targeted, but what should i do.my first instinct is to protect the girls, but if the guy has a shotgun......then.....oh well. what do you think i should do personally and what the nation should do as a whole?

The shooting at the Amish school is really perplexing to me. The Amish are the most peaceful people in the US, why would anyone want to attack them? They just want to lead a peaceful, simple life. Now they are being overrun by the modern world and it's sick facination with violence and death. It saddens and sickens me.

I was driving down M62 when the traffic ground to a halt. Just outside castleford a man was laid on the motorway bleeding heavily. It looked like he had jumped off the bridge that goes over the M62. On my way back down the M62 later on the road had been closed. What happened? Did he jump? Is he ok? There has been nothing on the news in Hull, but not sure about local news in Castleford/west york area.

The recent attack on the Amish school whereby three were killed shocked residents of the area. The school had no security whatsoever. Is it shocking that this could happen? Or is it more shocking, considering current state of affairs, that the community imagined something like this could not happen?

The japanese take no nonsense from immigrants no more than 3% of their population is allowed to be non japaneses and when their visa is up they kick them out. We have a back log of sponging ponces that shouldnt be here, they are lazy, useless and dangerous who breed like rats and use up precious health, welfare and education resources. We should start with all the illegal unlicensed taxi rapists in london, the police know who these people are yet let them drive uninsured, with poorly maintained cars just looking for their next victim.

That was the front page and the cover story of New Statesman on 13th September 2004. Just found an old copy as i was clearing out ...
But then i ask the question ... why just Islam?
Can Christianity change? Can Judaism change?
How should they change if you think they should?
Ultimately it is not the believers but the clerics that make organised religions into intolerant beliefs system with all the consequences showing in war and hostilities. What you think?
Please save the abuse, i'm none of the above and am not favouring one over the other. I live in hope that one day people can respect each others religious convictions.
I put this in current events to stay away from the religious gang btw ... hoping to get some objective answers if you know what i mean ...
