I just wondered if they ever marry outside their own people, if not would it be a very inbred society? Suppose no chance of any of them reading this if they don't hold with modern technology.

Amish are very similer to mininites. Amish will marry people in different comunitys.Their is no imbreading and most marriages last a life time. They are all very God faring good people.I my self spent some time in the mininite comunity as a small child. A lot of my family are mininites. In order to marry you just meet others like on trips to other mininite comunitys in different states,Its the same for amish.

There were a lot of them in the first place, your question should be how many people do you need to become self sufficient. Go to a website to find out. They chose to live the way they do and should be allowed to do it and | am very sorry for the terrible tragedy that has happened to them

Amish do mix with outsiders sometimes. I have even seen african american amish. BTW some amish do have internet access (me for example). No, they definitely do not in-breed.
